The modern laws of media hype and political warfare have a useful tenet: Repeat ANYTHING or raise false concern over ANYTHING and it is likely to be planted in the conscious/subconscious of many voters.
If people start to think that there might be something fishy with Palin's last kid (if hers), then that's FINE. One more doubt (whether tied to reality or not) is another hesitation at the ballot box.
GET WITH THE PROGRAM PEOPLE. The "rising above it" bullshit has served us so well in the past, hasn't it?

As much as it pains me I’m beginning to believe he really blew this one and along with it his chances to get elected!
Like most freepers, my first instinct after some of this crap started coming out was to come to the defense of Palin and McCain. Now it’s becoming more and more obvious by the hour that McCain did not vet Palin. Worse yet is the coverup underway for this unforgivable negligence. There’s just too much smoke.
And this is excrutiatingly hard to stomach.
I was so proud to have two principled people heading our ticket, and now it looks like we may very likely have two liars - please god let me be wrong!!

Link in #6 works. But the pictures may not be of her, but of Levi’s sister. And they were taken in 2006 when she was 15. I find it hard to believe she was drinking and carrying on like that back then. And how many times do kids pose in pictures for their friends to impress them and not actually do the things depicted.
Like everything else these days, your Myspace pictures are not just for you and your friends but might end up on the front page of the NY Daily News or NY Post some day.
