"Obama had zero qualifications to be president of Harvard Law Review"
WTKK Radio (Boston) | 9/10/08

Posted on 09/10/2008 1:49:18 PM PDT by pabianice

Now on The Jay Severin Show on Boston's WTKK-FM...

Severin says he has seen Obama's Harvard Law School record and says he had "zero qualifications" to become president of the Law Review "based upon his achievements and academic credentials." This is the second time I've heard that Obama was the first affirmative action president of the Law Review. Just before he was elected, the qualifications for being president were changed from smarts and academic excellence to 'helping right the wrongs of a facist society.'

As with Obama's Columbia records, all are sealed by purse-lipped Liberals who WILL NOT ALLOW any of Obama's records to see the light of day. If the simpering trust-baby losers at The Boston Globe had even a shred of integrity they would be screaming for Obama's Secret Records to be released. Why not? They have a team in Alaska just to try and discredit Palin.

Perhaps this is one reason Happy Barry has suddenly become The Snarl from Chicago.

And why is Obama’s IL law license “no longer in effect”?

“And why is Obama’s IL law license “no longer in effect”?”

Does Illinois have a moral turpitude clause for its bar?

Just asking.

“And why is Obama’s IL law license “no longer in effect”?”

He’s been so busy campaigning these last two years that he forgot to pay his bar dues?

Obama never published anything in the review while he was president. This is usually a part of being president.

Columbia U.: inheritor of The Frankfurt School’s Marxist-socialist agenda, leader of the NEA’s leftist journey, pollutor of once-great American universities.

"Obama had zero qualifications to be president of Harvard Law Review"

Well, he was a "clean black man."

That's good enough for his VP!

Barack says he didn’t put his race on his application. So, Harvard probably saw the name “Hussein” on it and figured he was a....wait for it........MUSLIM!

I guess it's fair to ask, though ... how well did he actually do as president of the Harvard Law Review? Did he do a good job, or did he make a mess of things?

Best to find that out before trying to make an issue of this. If he did fine, his prior qualifications are sorta moot.

I would go to the Board of Bar Overseers in IL and look up his name. They will have the answer posted.

I’ve heard the story that he was, so to speak, the dark horse candidate who won as a compromise alternative to two other candidates.

Actual facts, though, are thin on the ground when it comes to any actual, concrete credential which might reflect on Obama objectively.

Obama had one article published anonymously during his tenure at the review. It was on abortion. This has been confirmed.

As for his credentials, there were ~18 people seeking the editorship, there was an impasse and somehow he brokered support as a peacemaker, and then of course threwe everyone under the bus.

His edition of the Harvard Law Review is the LEAST CITED by a wide margin of all reviews of at least the last 20 years.

His LSAT scores have been requested and he has refused to release them.

He *still* isn’t qualified, based on the most basic of mistakes he’s made publicly, in his Constitutional knowledge, over the last year and a half.

Now there’s a thought. Does the Board put such things on line?

AFAIK, becoming president of law review isn't based on achievement or academic credentials. It's an elected position where the members of law review vote one of their own into the position.

Obama became an associate member of law review after his first year in law school by either grading on or through the writing competition, if his grades were not good enough. I have no idea if affirmative action played any part in his initially making it onto the journal.

He would have then spent his second year in law school working on the journal. At the end of the year, the members of law review voted in their new board.

The only qualification he would have needed would have been winning that election.

Ummm....how did he see it if it's sealed?

Doesn't pass the smell test to me. Why not copy it for all the world to see? Ever heard of cell phone cameras?
