Heard this morning from a UCLA economist, of the homes in foreclosure 40% are Latinos 50% African Americans - and the bad mortgagees have been the largest drain of capital in the AfricanAmerican community, ever. Also we should be prepared to go the ATM and not be allowed to withdraw funds soon. If this occurs and the word on the street gets out, there WILL be riots. This is why they are coming home prepared to take to the streets. Pray, get right with GOD, and buy ammo, rice, and beans. This may get nasty

I do believe I read something in NAFTA about the use of military to enforce the terms of the agreement. According to everything I’ve read coming out of Mexico and Canada they consider this a signed agreement and totally enforceable. Just suggesting perhaps another twist. Who really knows how many more issues may come into play before the year is over. We may be forced to react and marshall the good guys again and again, and react rather than act. Kind of like Congress and their immigration bills - they just don’t go away. NP and HR seem to always find a way to repackage the same old crap disguised in a yet different manner.

“Deploying the military is not a new practice in American history. Its been done often.”
National Guard units under state control, yes. Active duty units, not so often.

National Guard units under state control, yes. Active duty units, not so often. It must be genetic or maybe a New World Order thing. Bush I deployed Army and Marine regulars along with the National Guard in the Rodney King riots. Bush II is going to make it a standard operating procedure?

Hard not to be a Bush basher, he’s been the best thing for the Democrats since...Franklin Roosevelt. We have lost:
1) Our party’s preference for peace (not Bob Dole’s line about Democrats and war)
2) Our party’s reputation for fiscal prudence
3) Our control of the House and Senate.
4) Our party’s position that ‘nation building’ is not the job of the US.
Facts are difficult things to face up to.

I’m not talking about Democrats; I don’t expect them to do the right thing. But I do expect more of Republicans.
If you can’t deal with the substance of a post, better to just leave it alone. For the Republic and Republicans, Bush has been a disaster. What do you think a veto proof Senate w/ a far-left President means for Freedom?
