SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- There was major political theater involving President Bush's former chief of staff Karl Rove. A protestor tried to arrest Rove for treason Tuesday morning while he was speaking at the Mortgage Bankers Association Convention, continuing in San Francisco.
There were three protests during a very lively back and forth between former senate majority leader George Mitchell and Karl Rove. Rove blamed the Democrats for everything wrong with the economy. A protestor tried to smack handcuffs on Karl Rove, but Rove slapped back, and the woman was taken off stage.

Total of 3 female protestors, all 3 looked not bad, they must be a lot of fun among their fellow lefties.
We’re losing the country to these kooks, I kind of liked the way the first kook goes up there and says “why aren’t there any women on stage?” and then politely segways into “excuse me I have to make a citizens arrest for treason with these handcuffs”.
Rove did NOT slap her. Gee I guess this doesn’t count as mean or hateful or disruptive when they PHYSICALLY ATTACK republicans.
Unless conservatives begin to insist we’re not taking this crap anymore, all is lost.
AFTER Rove is assaulted on stage and they have to haul two more screaming banshees out, they show Mitchell being cheered for accusing Rove of running negative campaigns.
