The recent countywide trend of disappearing campaign signs has turned some ordinary citizens into crime scene detectives. In Encinitas, one News 8 views is using his own surveillance system to catch thieves in the act.

Here in the San Jose / Los Gatos area - the theft of Yes on 8 signs is widespread...
A nearby home made the evening news - as the result of two “guys” taking offense to a neighbor’s Yes on 8 sign — by parking their white SUV RIGHT IN FRONT of the home and DIRECTLY ACROSS THE STREET FROM AN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL with signs painted in their SUV window stating “These people are bigots” with an arrow pointed at the offending house......
Yep — folks —— our “gentle fagots” now hurl hate speech if one disagrees on the definition of a term that for thousands of years has been clear... MARRIAGE...
Prop 8 is ANOTHER attempt to have the Kalifornicate Constitution define MARRIAGE as a union between ONE man and ONE woman......
The perverts are no longer asking for “tolerance” — they are now demanding to redefine words, laws and religious teachings....
Once again - tolerance of deviant behavior leads to the perverts believing they can impose their perversion on society and demand “normalcy” and “equivalency”....
The Iranians handle the situation more forcefully.

Words mean things — Deviant & Perversion are both words quite the opposite of “normal”...

I don’t particularly care to see signs that disagree with my point of view politically, but you know what, that’s people’s right to put them up. It’s not my right to take them down.
I see Obama signs in people’s yards. I just shake my head and drive on. I see No on 8 signs. Big deal.
Loretta Sanchez’s husband was caught taking down Dornan signs when she ran against him. All this does is make you look small and frightened.
I would have sneaked outside and kicked the ladder out from under that guy.
They can steal all the signs they want but that won’t change the outcome of the election. Prop 8 will win easily.
Vandals in Europe who sacked ancient Rome and other places were barbarians who were born and raised in that way.
The people ripping down these signs are supposed to know better.

Interesting choice of words on the headline, since the vandals are obviously in favor of "No on 8". Somehow the headline writer made the mistake of using a construction that leaves the reader with the impression that it is "Yes on 8" advocates who are vandalizing signs.

Put the signs in a metal frame that is insulated from its base. Then run a wire to the frame coming from an electric fence pulse generator. That’ll stop the perps....works in my yard on my property with my McCain / Palin signs. Caught 2 teens on web cam trying to remove it...one boy peed in his pants...LMAO...waiting to hear from someone on it. It’s all recorded. Sad world we live in.
