Damn right we do. She is the heir to the Goldwater-Reagan legacy.

They (pollsters) are trying to flood the GOP primaries with as many candidates as possible so a “McCain” candidate can emerge....
We should set limits to 3-4 candidates only...NOT 12....

The second poll in a week finds Republicans voters placing Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin at the top of their list for potential Republican presidential candidates in 2012. IOW, perhaps Sarah was chosen to be placed in the spot light and it worked.
Let's just hope for it to be true that it worked.
PALIN 2012!

Obama hasn’t taken office yet. How do we know he will be running again in 2012, when we still don’t even know if he is eligible to take office on January 20, 2009?

I love Sara because the mainstream media hates her.....that’s reason enough to vote for her.

the fact that somebody is polling this right now is a symptom of the evil which is Beltway Conventional “Wisdom”.
Sarah isn’t ready to lead a ticket yet. But she would be an asset to any adminstration. And I say that as a big fan of hers. She was the only person I voted for this year.
Jindal. Barbour. Sanford. Hell, even Jeb Bush was a pretty great governor. All of them are already tested leaders who are PREDICTABLE conservatives. We already KNOW they are conservatives and we don’t need to waste another primary testing out all these RINOs to see which one the media likes best.

These polls are unreal. Does anyone remember immediate polls coming out 4 years ago?? Were Hilary and Rudy on top of those?

“second poll in a week “...
2 polls times 52 weeks times (approx)3.5 years = almost 400 polls.
Say... 10 media organizations... times 400 polls = about 4000 polls... just about Governor Palin.
Seriesly: someone is suffering poll withdrawal. It sure ain’t me though. I’d be happy to never see another poll.

Can't you just feel the unity? Better work it out soon, 2012 campaigning will likely be starting in about what 3-4 months.

I’d like to hear more about her stance on open borders, amnesty, illegal aliens, etc. If for tightening up all of these things, I’m 100% for her. (Even better — send back the illegals already here.)
To: julieee
This far out, this is an utterly meaningless poll. She wins on name recognition alone. Let Jindal and some of the others campaign for a little while, and then we’ll see...
