after failing at airhead america radio, he is desperate for a victory. he’s probably already gotten the chicago crime syndicate, also known as the Democrat Party, invovled to “ensure” a win.

Think they mind? I doubt it with the pro-dem media.

Voters in Washington though Rossi won in 2004. But then they went and reelected the witch who stole it from him.

If you can’t mark you ballot properly, your vote doesn’t count, no matter what you intended. That was proved in Florida in 2000.

“He can cherry pick. It is absurd on the face of it.”

Coleman darn well better take this up to the SC. I can’t see any way it survives.

Democrat Al Franken has launched a door-to-door campaign in Minnesota to gather affidavits from voters and use them to defeat GOP incumbent Sen. Norm Coleman.

Interesting. I have launched a door-to-door campaign in my state to gather preschool fingerpaintings that the parents are willing to label "Norm Coleman". Neither of us are gathering actual votes, but if Minnesota is willing to count one group of random papers along with real votes, I imagine they'll count the other group of random papers as if they were real votes too. Give me enough notice, and I can have more fingerpaintings than the commedian has affidavits. Does anyone want to submit a basket of Coleman campaign buttons and see if they count too?

This is all such bull$h!t !!

A ballot has no name ... how on earth can anyone go and ask the people that had their votes rejected when no one knows who they are????

I've never voted absentee, so I don't know if there is any ID on them or not ... and perhaps THAT's what he's doing ... and if so, any FReepers in Minn. had better get out and beat feet for Coleman.

Whatever happened to a “secret ballot?” How can elections officials allow Franken to ask people how they voted?

Believe it or not, the media is trying to compare Coleman to Blago.

You almost have to admire the evil little maniac! He just doesn’t stop. He’s like Freddie or Jason, just when you think they’re dead, they leap out at you from a closet. What does it take to make this guy go away?

The sad part is that he could actually pull it off.

Franken presented on Thursday 62 affidavits from Minnesota citizens who stated that their votes for Franken were improperly rejected. In past elections, such affidavits have all but forced election officials to count the votes in question.

1.) HOW do those citizens KNOW their votes were improperly rejected? Were they informed by the Minnesota Secretary of State of that fact?

2.) IF those ballots were rejected, why would the grounds upon which they were rejected now be considered insufficient, and the ballots considered valid and acceptable? Were they lying then (about the ballots being invalid) or are they lying NOW (about them now being 'acceptable')?

3.) Franken and the 'Rats are phucking scum. THAT fact is absolutely valid and invulnerable to ANY challenge.

We must stop supporting Coleman. It is very bad for PR for us to call for legal votes to not be counted.

Minnesota is soo clean, the canvassing board will probably correct the clerical errors allowing all legal votes to be counted. Most likely Franken will be the certified winner.

a newly naturalized citizen who says he feels disenfranchised.

Did he say that in Spanish, Somali or Hmong?

Most likely Franken will be the certified winner.

Franken may yet find a way to steal this election, but until the day he dies, he will be an absolute, certified LOSER, and NO amount of votes can change that.

How can this possibly be legal??

When the law looks the other way, everything is legal.

Franken is in desperation mode. His affidavits will likely be rejected unless someone is actually going to conduct an investigation to determine if there is validity to the claims in the affidavits.

What this amounts to is another election where he will try to sway the election with affidavits versus ballots. There will have to be a bunch of hearings and investigations to determine the validity the affidavits. If we go back to the 2000 election (which Algore lost, BTW) this seems to be the model that Franken is following. In the aftermath of the 2000 election in which claims were made in FloriDUH that large numbers of minorities were disenfranchised at the polls. The Civil Rights Commission conductive an extensive series of hearings across FloriDUH in response to the claims and were unable to find a single minority whose claims of disenfranchisement could be validated.

As a result, I believe that Franken will send up this trial balloon as the next possible step to steal the election and, assuming that doesn't work, he will then challenge it in court. We have to remember that Franken is unemployed and has failed as a “comedian”, failed as a radio talk show host and if he fails at stealing Coleman's Senate seat, he may have to take a job flipping burgers or working at Walmart to keep he family fed. He's definitely feeling the heat!!

Coleman Lead Endangered by Franken Affidavits

(snip)

Both the Nov. 4 vote tally and the subsequent recount show that Coleman won the election. The affidavits presented by Franken would wipe out nearly a third of Coleman’s current 192-vote lead if accepted, however.

Looking at the article's title, please tell me if I'm missing something. Let's see, 192 vote lead minus 62 "vote" addition (entered into my trusty HP12C) equals... what?... 130. Again, am I missing something? Or is this that Democratic "new" math?
