“Judge Sally” seems to have the gravitas and the experience to (a) be a legit “sitting judge” and (b) have some experiential insight into the motivations of Fitz as a prosecutor and the Chicago gang in their quasi-criminal activities.
She’s not the most articulate person, but she does seem to have unshakable certainty in her assessment and opinion, which is the hallmark of a “sitting judge”.

We knew about the Trib mention of the wiretaps, of course, but what does this woman have to do with it? Very interesting. I love Mark Levin....only get a few minutes of his show usually, but love it.

The judge is right. Wiretaps run until (a) the tappers have the SPECIFIC information they are tapping for—i.e., they know exactly what they want and need and fish until they get it—or (b) the talking stops and there is nothing left to listen to—the fishes get spooked and swim off.
What happened to "I . . . we . . . no one from my office . . . had ANY CONTACT WITH THE GOVERNOR OR HIS PEOPLE? . . ." Maybe he misspoke? "What I meant to say was . . is . . that 'no one that is in any way associated with me did not NOT HAVE contact with the Governor and ALL of his people'?" Fitz and his crew were onto something HUGE and the Zed's peeps knew it. Rahmando the consigliere is up to his eardrums in this (what is it now? 21 conversations with Blags on the tape?), and it is going to be impossible for Zed to disavow his association if/when this onion gets peeled.
Sadly, the Zed's associations are always without ramifications. Seems the streets are paved with Teflon and his shoes have butter soles. He is the king of slide and glide.

I read somewhere where Madigan said they, meaning her office, had been tipped off.

This judge said the Fed is allowed to wire tap to gather specific information and once that secific information is gathered they must stop.
Playing devil’s advocate here for a minute. Fitz started the wire tapping in late Oct.
What if the reason for his wire tap was not due to the sale of the Senate Seat but something else, and he got the information he needed and had to stop the wire tap?
