I love cats and would never do this but as several have already mentioned, what about cows, migratory birds, horses?
I bet those were some Po’d cats that were pierced unless they were knocked out from the drugs licensed groomers use.

How is this different from branding cattle, clipping a dogs ears/tail, de-clawing cats, testicle removal on bulls, etc... I guess I don't get it. Me either. I guess it is alright to cut the nuts off of a male dog or cat "to make him a better pet", but for gosh sakes don't pierce the kitty's tail! Allowing your teenager to pierce his/her tongue, ears, nose and lips is just fine, but don't pierce that cat! Hypocrites.

This guy was punching holes in kittens in his basement to sell them on ebay. The equivalence issue is a bit of a stretch.

So someone sitting in their basement punching holes in animals for no reason is good. I guess the laws in Pa don’t go along with your moral equivalence.

Well actually...it is different. Have you ever had a kitten in house...they climb and jump and I can forsee either earrings (or were they those stupid ‘gage’ things) causing a problem as a kitten (or cat) could get hooked or stuck by their ear. This adding an appliance that could cause the cat harm its addition...docking a tail or clipping ears (of a dog) is different. And the tail thing? WTH...cats ‘need’ their tails for balance...what’s is this womyn thinking (other than turn a fast buck).

Why don’t you take a rubberband and wrap it real tight around your leg for say....a month....maybe you can grasp that pain.

This is a first, said Officer Carol Morrison. Its unbelievable anybody would do this to kittens.
#1- You don’t get out much do you, Carol?
#2- Stop calling these jumped-up members of private organizations “Officers”. They aren’t “Officers”. They just pretend to be ones in real life.

Three kittens with ear, neck and tail piercings were removed from a home by humane officers on Wednesday.

A dog inside the home was also found with pierced ears, Morrison said.
The kittens also had submission rings placed in their tails, Morrison said, explaining that the rings would prevent blood flow, causing the tails to fall off. Same to you....tie a rubberband around your arm so it will die and fall off and tell me if it was painful.

Those procedures are done by a licensed veterinarian.

She could hook a few kittens to her face on pay per view.
