Code Pink Christmas Card (Address at Post 23)
USPS delivery | Rick Chollett

Posted on 01/10/2009 11:25:13 PM PST by rfreedom4u

As some of you may know, I am deployed to Iraq. I sent a Christmas card to Code Pink which read, "Merry Christmas from a soldier in Iraq defending your rights."

Today I recieved a response. It is a nice card with a picture of a little girl on the front. Written on the front it says, "All children deserve a happy life." I agree that all children do deserve a happy life.

On the inside of the card it says, "Happy New Year! Peace on Earth includes Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Palestine, Somalia Darfur."

There is also a picture enclosed of a cute young girl who appears to be wearing muslim garb. On the back of the picture it says, "Please don't bomb her."

I'll be sending a repsonse today. I will include a picture of the World Trade Center and Pentagon after the 9/11 attacks. On them I will write that peace on Earth also includes the streets of America.

I also encourage everyone to write to them asking them to call on islamist countries to stop pursuing their war against the West and Israel.

Thank you for your service.

Tell them that securing peace means preparing for war.

God bless you and yours! Thanks from the bottom of my heart for defending against enemies abroad, and those at home. More of us must do the same.

I also wrote to Michael Moore (return to sender), CAIR, Nation of Islam, NAACP and ACLU. No response from any of them yet.

I did get responses from my congressman, governor (I’m from Texas) and the Vatican.

Code Pink 'Bundles' for Barack, 4/14/2008

Cindy Sheehan, Jodie Evans, Hugo Chavez,
Medea Benjamin [co-founder Code Pink]

"The co-founder of the radical anti-war group Code Pink [Jodie Evans] has “bundled” more than $50,000 for Sen. Barack Obama’s presidential campaign, and pro-troops groups are demanding that he return the money."

Seems to me like the Code Pink card should be submitted as the first piece of evidence in a trial for Treason. We have people committing treason daily in this country while our troops are scattered all over the world (not just Iraq) in danger. Why do we not prosecute them? Why is that unthinkable or uncharitable, when people are deliberately giving aid and comfort to the enemy, undermining our security efforts, physically obstructing military operations at home and abroad, and spreading false information as well as leaking classified information? Those crimes are as bad as some ski-masked muslim tossing a hand-grenade, in my opinion.

I also wrote to Michael Moore...

Michael Moore (quote), from his website, April 14, 2004...

"The Iraqis who have risen up against the occupation are not 'insurgents' or 'terrorists' or 'The Enemy.' They are the REVOLUTION, the Minutemen, and their numbers will grow -- and they will win. Get it, Mr. Bush?"
[actual quote from Michael Moore (2004). It still appears on his website]

The Communist Party USA (CPUSA):
"We are a party of unity in action. We are an integral part of every struggle and movement for change to eliminate poverty and joblessness, against racism and for full equality. We are participants, initiators and leaders of every movement to make life better now and much better in a socialist future." Yeah, so they supported an oppressive dictator, like the Repubs and Democrats haven't? The CP is still around, has apologized for that whole Stalin thing, and has a quickly growing youth section.

I'm convinced they don't. Think, that is. Literally. I don't they've done the mental "what if" game to see just what sort of reception their lifestyle choices would receive under the iron fist of shari'a law.

Seems to me like the Code Pink card should be submitted as the first piece of evidence in a trial for Treason.

First let me say before you get out your flame thrower that Code Pink is detestable and not worthy of being spit upon by our men in uniform.

But sending the card to this soldier is not IMO treason because he initiated the contact knowing the views of the organization.

Code Pink is a political action committee and entitled to First Amendment protection when they peacefully protest, print tracts and advertise.

That is not to say that some of the actions that you ascribe to them are not protected by the First Amendment and are crimes perhaps not rising to the level of treason but certainly crimes.

But if they become active in spreading their propaganda in nations where we are involved in military action that could rise to the level of treason.

If code pink is involved in leaking classified info that would be treason but I am not aware that they had been linked to any such event.

The First Amendment was written to protect unpopular political speech (not pornography or gangster rap as some think) so as much as I hate to do it I have to say that Code Pink as far as I know is entitled to send that card to this defender of our country.

God bless you and have a safe New Year! Thanks for doing a job most people (myself included) do not have the courage and ability to do. Folks like you are making life better for millions of people. People like you (and not the code pinkos) are creating the conditions that will make peace possible.

Never mind the slanderous hate of the neo-communists. Most people outside of Hollywood and a few other rarefied places know what these neo-communists are - that they are automatically on the side of any enemy of the U.S. no matter what - so we do not believe their lies.
