According to TSO who was at the “Salute to Heroes Inaugural Ball”, this newly sworn-in President for the first time in 56 years blew off the ball (that’s 14 Inaugurations).

A tradition for over a half century until "The Loser" with his nose in the air snubbed the Medal of Honor winners.

The fact remains that Bush & Co.used the WORST case scenario to justify the immediacy of the invasion in 2003..and the ROSIEST case scenario for everything that would follow afterwards.

In essence they jumped into the pool without checking the water.....and we were therefore on the learning curve for the next 4-5 years ..taking caualties needlessly....

Put it to somebody who's been working in various capacities in Operaation Iraqi Freedom for over five years and you might hear that your assessment is NOT correct.

Set me straight on something. If you are a Medal of Honor holder, doesn't the president have to salute you and you return the salute? Seems like I read that somewhere. It's one of the privileges of being a MoH recipient.

I sure agree with you. We had to listen for eight years to the other trash our president and tell us he was selected not elected. I think there may be reasons in the future to protest something he does, but this is ridiculous. I also saw him at the Commander in Chief Ball and I enjoyed watching him talk with the men in Afghanistan.
