PUT ON THE GLASSES!!!

The definition of congress is "a meeting of elected or appointed representatives". The key word in that definition is representatives, A.K.A., those who represent. Much to the dismay of Nancy Pelosi, Article VI of the constitution requires that "...The Senators and Representatives... both of the United States and of the several states, shall be bound by oath or affirmation, to support this Constitution..."

In my opinion, there is no doubt that the oath mandated by Article VI of the Constitution has been violated by the majority of the 111th Congress. The stimulus package, also known as H.R.1, "The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009", an 1100 page bill, was passed by the House of Representatives with fewer then twelve hours of public review, and with numerous public statements made by members of Congress that they were not given the necessary time to actually read the bill. That, my friends, is unconstitutional, and is therefore grounds for a redress of grievances as guaranteed by the First Amendment.

Obama's "stimulus package" is nothing less than a modern day "Enabling Act" which has little to do with stimulating our economy, and everything to do with stimulating the birth of liberal socialist fascism in America. How could we have been so blind? How did we miss the signs? Didn't we notice the unquestioning press, the college students donating their parents money via PayPal, the Orwellian "Obey Giant" imagery, the lapdog Congress, the awestruck American electorate, and all the creepy parallels to "Weimar" Germany in 1933? To quote Roddy Piper in "They Live", why didn't we "PUT ON THE GLASSES?"

Although everybody from Aristotle to Ziegfeld has been credited with the following quote, it was George Santayana who said "Those who cannot remember the past, are condemned to repeat it".He wrote those words thirty years prior to the rise of Nazi Germany! Yet we Americans, in our current state of "Obama hypnosis" are forgetting the past, and as a result, are very much condemned to repeat it!

So what do we do? Well for starters, WAKE UP! Read your history and learn from it. Be aware of what is happening around you, and refuse to accept it. Talk to your neighbors, and friends, and coworkers, and become aware. Write to your Congressmen. Write to your local papers. Blog. Post on Free Republic. MAKE NOISE!!! But most importantly, and again to quote Roddy Piper..."PUT ON THE GLASSES!!!"

"We" weren't blind. At least I wasn't. And thousands of people like me have been warning everyone we could for decades what is happening to this nation.

Everyone CHOOSE to sit on their butts and play nintendo, watch porn, or what ever "me, myself and I" thing they were up to.

And everyone is going to sit on their butts and do the same thing now, except maybe hope they'll "get something for free" from the government.

They deserve whats coming. Perhaps a little suffering is what this nation needs to wake up.

Anyone notice the NAME of this bill is the same as smaller bills passed during the Carter Admin in 1973, "The community Reinvestment bill". And again during the clinton admin.

This is part three of the "plan", and ACORN will be very quick to start implementing it.

Unlike everyone else who has to spend months digging through this massive pork bill, ACORN activists and leaders know exactly what it contains and have had plans drawn up to exploit every bit of pork it contains, plus they have 100 billion in cash to gather the forces needed to spend the other trillions.

This stimulus bill should be called the Political Pocket Padding Protection Act PPPPA. come to pappa..big brother.

They are attempting to assume control over everything, our money, homes, jobs, banks, transportation, food we eat, news, communications.........

Odooma is trying to pull off a socialist coup. He caught the pacifist conservatives off guard and weak. But I don’t think he can maintain control. The economy is going to tank.
People will become quite angry and disorderly. They will attempt to impose martial law, usurping state laws guaranteed by the 10th Amendment.

We are going to have to stop them dead in their tracks. Their tanks are rolling. Seriously.

Yep, that's what ACORN will be doing. It's ALL going to be done through ACORN, one way or another. That's why Obama said he'll be basing his actions on the direction of Acorn.

I heard unconfirmed reports that lobbyists had the conference version of the bill Wed Night, a FULL DAY before the legislators saw it.

So did the legislators vote on the lobbyist version or the congressional version? Who actually made the changes? Who witnessed the changes? Who wrote the Bill?

Somewhere I smell a rat. I suspect congress as a whole had very little input in the final version. The bill was written by lobbyists working for Reid and Pelousey, Frank and Dodd, Schumer and Feinstein. The bill was probably 25 or more seperate bills merged together for the opportunity of crisis.

We are now a Communist country. It’s that simple.

The government schools have succeeded. It’s that simple.

That’s what they were designed to accomplish, and they have accomplished it.

And yet, most “conservatives” insist, STILL, that government schools are essential to the American Way of Life.

While you still have the internet and before the useful pages get scrubbed away, research “anarchist cookbook” and ways of resisting and rebelling effectively.
There’s a lot more, a LOT more you can do, than just “be aware.” Most of it is still legal, and the rest is...arguable. :)
