U.S. Rep Louie Gohmert, R-Tyler, headlines a Texas Tax Day Tea Party scheduled for noon Wednesday on the Gregg County Courthouse steps.
The rally, open to all East Texans, is designed for residents to express their concerns about irresponsible Congressional spending. The rally includes participants donating tea bag that will be given to U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
Tea party attendees should bring tea bags, signs expressing their concerns for higher taxes and massive spending, along with family, friends, neighbors and acquaintances. Similar tea parties are slated throughout Texas and the nation.
The local event is sponsored by the Gregg County Republican Party. The courthouse is located at 101 E. Methvin St.

I never watch the MSM anymore...does anyone know if any outlet besides Fox is covering these protests?
I’ve only seen them on local, other than snarky comments on CNN about how a ‘couple of people here and there show up’.
My wife and I will BE there! I’m going to spread the word too.
I plan on being there with my oldest son and brother. Rep. Gohmert is one of the best!!!!!!!!!!!
