Tax Day Tea Party in Ocala, Florida
Wonderful!!!!! I love it!!!!!! I going to my local rally in Fairhope AL in a few minutes. God bless Ocala.
TERRIFIC Pictures!! Thanks for posting!
Was in Ocala once...still trying to convince the Mrs. that we need to move there!
Thanks for the photos. I love the one that reads: A nation of sheep begets a government of wolves.
The photos are from the noon rally. There’s another at 4pm. I have to pick up my grandson from school now and we’re heading to town for that one.
Yes.
Fine pictures. Fine people.
Do you happen to know the name of the offending Bay News 9 reporter? I could make use of it.
Rick Elmhorst
I watched the report on TV after my post and the count came up to 1500. He also interviewed the one, I repeat, one Zero backer. He looked like a 16 year old kid.
Thank you.
Great report....thanks! We had a fine turnout at Melbourne(FL) City Hall at noon today...1200 or so. People were very cheerful and waved great signs. Even the local media seemed sort of stunned, and gave fair coverage. I talked to many about Napolitano’s “Right-Wing Extreemist” diatribe. She is bringing back the brownshirts and Chairman Mao’s Red Guards tactics. I hope we can force her to back off.
OCALA....YES!
Looks like a great time, I’m sorry I wasn’t able to get there from the Shores.
I attach a link from the Ocala Star Banner story about the party, where they say there was 1000 people BEFORE the 4 pm rally: Downtown ‘Tea Party’ protests tax, spending increases “ http://www.ocala.com/article/20090415/NEWS/904159987/1402/NEWS?Title=Tax-protesters-gather-in-Ocala ‘
My grandson was on an overnight school trip to the Tampa zoo. They were due to return to Ft. McCoy by 5pm but didn’t arrive until almost 6pm. By the time we got back to town, the square was empty. I’m sorry he missed it.
Love the pictures - lots of creative signs - and the grandkids are beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
