Newsbusters caught the same indignantly indignant Susan Roesgen covering an anti-Bush rally in New Orleans in which she blithely refers to a huge Bush puppet with horns and a Hitler mustache as a lookalike.

This using the name Hitler lightly is getting old. Nothing diminishes an argument quicker than going to the Fascist, Nazi, Hitler well.
That being said no wonder CNN ratings are bottom food. The only reason Faux news ratings are so high because every other news outlet is pro Obama. Faux news has a monopoly on the other side

I agree with you but there is absolutely no better description of hussein than a National Socialist... it covers everything that he believes in.

Nothing diminishes an argument quicker than going to the FascistThe problem is that the economic policies that Obama has put into place, regarding the auto and banking industries ARE fascist by definition, i.e. private ownership with government control.

During the Tea Party protest on Tax Day April 15, 2009, Roesgen complained that a sign showing President Barack Obama dressed as Hitler was offensive. However, in January 2006 at a protest, she joked about a protester who wore a George W. Bush mask with a Hitler moustache and devil horns.

Note to CNN: Remember those bumper stickers that said “Protest Is Patriotic” that so many libs sporting during the Bush era. And remember that famous quote of Hitlery’s about how “we reserve the right to disagree with this administration, or ANY administration...!”
Where are you now, CNN, o bastion of objectivity?

If CNN were a real news station they would have pulled her off the air for her "look-alike" comment in New Orleans.
The guy she interviewed who was carrying his daughter made the Lincoln/Obama point perfectly, instead of letting him speak, like a real news reporter who was sent to cover an event might do, she decided to attack him.
On her behalf, maybe she couldn't get the day off to protest and forgot that she was paid to be a reporter.

It looks like CNN is yanking their so-called journalists off the streets. This woman doesn’t know the difference between reporting and commentary. That’s par for the course for CNN. I hope they keep her around. She’s good for laughs and conversation.

not at all
communism = nationalise all means of production
socialism = nationalise major industries only e.g energy/food production, money/banks, health, education
fascism = private ownership, government control

I agree! What a delicious word — I had to check to see if actually exists as a proper word in the dictionary. It does!
I’m going to find an excuse — any excuse — to use that word a few times over the next week!
