Secret Foreign Ministry document: Venezuela sends uranium to Iran

Venezuela and Bolivia are supplying Iran with uranium for its nuclear program, according to a secret Israeli government report obtained Monday by The Associated Press.

The two South American countries are known to have close ties with Iran, but this is the first allegation that they are involved in the development of Iran's nuclear program, considered a strategic threat by Israel.

If you will remember, a couple of years ago Chaves’s thugs cleared out an indian tribe near the Colombian border. At the time it was speculated that there was uranium to be mined in the area. Looks like it was true!

If proven to be correct, this is a development of significant concern. Consider this exchange scheme: Venezuala ---> Iran <--- North Korea North Korea has nukes. Iran is close to obtaining nukes. Venezuala gives uranium in exchange for either future know-how provided by both Iran and North Korea or a literal nuke or two given in exchange for the uranium sent.

In response to Ynet’s report according to which Venezuela and other Latin American countries were aiding Iran’s nuclear program, Deputy Finance Minister Yitzhak Cohen (Shas) said “we must take the hateful speeches delivered by (Iranian President Mahmoud) Ahmadinejad and (Venezuelen President Hugo) Chavez very seriously.

“Bitter experience has taught us that this issue should be dealt with as soon as possible,” Cohen said. (Roni Sofer)
