Well seeing as how “that’s gay” is the #1 slam to give another in the under 18 crowd I think this person has bumped their head

Ur So Gay

There is so much wrong with this article that I don't know where to begin...however, at the center of it, he is right.

1. Asking teenagers what they think of gay marriage is a laugh. First of all, those gay and lesbian teachers have been inculcating these kids for 30 years. What the heck did you think their opinions would be?

2. The phrase “Obama like change” made me throw up a little in my mouth.

3. He is right that the genie is out of the bottle. If it was just California approving then defeating gay marriage, it might have been contained. But when Iowa amongst others approves it, gay marriage becomes a matter of time across the nation

4. It is interesting that he may be wrong ultimately in that gay marriage may end up being usurped by a movement which removes marriage and its definition from the realm of the government and that universal domestic partnership contracts between 2 consenting adults will be upheld as the right to be granted and it will become a matter for churches to determine what defines a marriage in their faith.

5. The real issue today is not gay marriage but the California State Constitution itself. How does a constitution allow for the majority to determine through voting what rights to allow the minority. Can the residents of California now vote as the majority to not allow hispanics to speak in public if it wants to? Can the majority not allow the minority blacks to visit state beaches if it wants to? This is a real can of worms.

6. Now, we in California have a situation where conservatives want a state constitutional convention to limit the powers of the state to tax and spend and borrow. The liberals want a constitutional convention to rewrite the protections on basic civil rights and the way referendums are used to determine the rights of the people. In an unusual twist, for different reasons it's in the best interest of opposing viewpoints to both want a constitutional convention.

If you thought gay marriage was a big genie when it came out of the bottle, wait until you see what happens with a California Constitutional Convention...and given all that's happened, that day is coming and very soon I believe.

Morford can't write an article without some kind of reference to anal sex, whether it be direct or indirect. He didn't disappoint this go-round.

Please observe how the kids merely look at you as though you're more than a little bit deranged and prehistoric, so out of touch you might as well be Dick Cheney talking up the diesel-powered rectal thermometers he so loved back in World War I.

They still have students in the high schools in San Fran?

Didn’t all the families pick up and leave that hellhole?

Yeah, Markie. Because “it’s gonna happen...whether ya like it or not” worked so well for you the last time.

One other thought:

7. I think it’s ironic that the success of Proposition 8 is demographically tied to black women who came out in droves to vote for Obama. It was a victory for civil rights to vote for Obama in their eyes even if they didn’t pause for a single iota to discover the real “content of his character”. But even if this one act was a violation of Dr. King’s admonition, why stop at that? They took it a step further and made a concerted effort to deprive another marginalized group of their civil rights on the very same day. Talk about committing sins at the gates of heaven. Meanwhile, down in the Castro, the gays are dancing to the Weather Girl’s version of “It’s Raining Men” even as the Weather Girls are over in Oakland at the local elementary school secretly voting to deprive the gays of what they believe are their basic civil rights. Ours is an ironic God.

A few more articles like this and opponents of same-sex marriage will discover their ranks growing.

Especially once the US Supreme Court overturns the CA Supreme Court’s decision today.

Maybe I’m out of it and outdated, but do elementary school kids know what a lesbian is? They may have heard the word but do they really know what it means?

Do prepubescent kids know what their parents do behind closed doors? Do they really have any concept of homosexuality?

Head on down to your local high school -- hell, make it a junior high or even an elementary -- and take yourself an informal survey. Ask the various wary, bepimpled youth of Generation Tweet what they think about those scary gay people getting married.

Pfft. What in the world could possibly be more useless than a teenager's opinion?

Do they really have any concept of homosexuality?

The only thing young kids know instinctively is that it's unnatural and gives them the creeps.
...The same way normal adults feel.

little kids will also drink milk with a bug and eat candy that fell on the floor.

This is the same IDENTICAL BS that the communists used to say nuclear weapons are bad.

“if children ran the world we would have peace and no nuclear weapons...”

As repulsive as this article is, there is one bit of truth in it:

What's more, there is still an enormous amount of work to be done, new referendums and protests and fundraisers and awareness-raisings. The change will not come without help and push. Hate and homophobia still seethe in myriad pockets of the culture and the populace at large, even trickling down to dumb-blond silicon-injected beauty pageant runner-ups who parrot the same childlike religious misinformation her handlers have pumped into her kind for 2,000 wickedly patriarchal years.

As he has said, the objective is to remove Christianity from relevance in our society. And, for the most part, they are winning in that regard. If we aren't there already, America will be as much a post-Christian society as Europe is now before long, within 20 years max. Gay marriage is but a symptom of this decline.

And attention to you little-"l" libertarians out there: libertarianism can only work when the populace has the moral underpinnings required to discipline themselves, removing the need for society to maintain order and discipline on society's members behalf. As John Adams said,

Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.

Absolutely RIGHT! We dismiss Morford at our peril. The left has an absolute stranglehold on academia and the schools. The rainbow agenda will be pushed down our kids throats. Yes homeschooling provides some with a solution, but far too many conservatives do not have that option and cannot afford private schools. They must be aware of what is being taught in the schools and they must fight the schools at every turn before accepting the enforced cultural marxism that allows the homosexual agenda to spread.
