A balanced approach would include development of our OWN vast oil and natural gas resources and clean, safe nuclear power, not mandating the pet projects and unproven technologies favored by libs & environmentalist whackos. I don't think anyone here is against solar or wind energy, but there's little reason to believe that either one or a combination of both can provide all the power that we require.
