Frum disses Palin for sharing money with Alaska taxpayers when she comes out against government "handouts"
He says Palin was popular in Alaska because she gave everyone 1200 bucks.
Frum: Palin failed in interview after interview.
Coulter: She has tremendous star power
Frum: Palin a divisive force within the republican party
And within the country.
And will lead the party to political defeat and ineffectiveness in government. (LOL HUH? That's what the GOP did with McCain)
Coulter: Reagan was divisive too, and they said he was just appealing to the base (It worked then)
Coulter: Palin a lot closer to the republcian party THAT WINS
Coulter: When we run those with wide appeal like McCain, who was so respected by democrats, that tends to be when we lose.
Coulter: Palin has Star appeal

For some reason this video takes a while to load up on my computer.
Naturally at the end they let Frum go on and on with his lies and misrepresentations and there was only time for Coulter at the end to say "I disagree with all of that" and knew that she would not be given time to respond.
Frum is suffering from Palin Emasculation Syndrome big time.

Sarah is coming to the lower 48 to take on the libs. They know it...and fear it to the core.
SARAH'S FAREWELL SPEECH AS GOVERNOR - GREAT READ
Sarah has now initiated her brilliant flanking manuever against the left, the DNC, the MSM and the RINOs that has them all in a frenzy wondering what her next move will be and how it will be perceived...and has them frothing at the mouth in their efforts to discredit her.
Sarah will now get her book out, go on tour, give speeches and promote conservatie principles all over this country in the midst of the Obama administration disaster and gain great political capital in the process. Then she will support conservative candidates in 2010 and help them win, amassing much more political capital. She will then take all of that and make an awesome, stunning run for the Presidency in 2012.

“Frum: Palin failed in interview after interview.”
I’m amazed when one has an agenda, the memory cells fail. In two EDITED interviews, she was made to appear weak. She was interviewed by Hannity (who didn’t spare the tough questions — just didn’t try trapping her) and did fine, along with others as well. More recently, she ate Matt Lauer’s lunch when the Letterman controversy raged.

Yes, the interview with The Perky One was heavily edited to try to make Palin look bad.
This David guy should crawl back under the rock he came Frum.

And what, Biden did great in his interviews. Let’s see, the Katie Couric interview he did when he said that FDR went on TV in 1929 and said that everything would be Ok..yeah that’s pure genius right there. Secondly, the interview he did with that Florida news anchor, where he started acted like an erratic idiot and said he would never appear on that network again. Biden is an EPIC FAIL but of course David FRAUD will never admit to that

Coulter is up against a Rhino on a major TV network. She is happy to be there and defined as such by the network — what she doesn't want to lose is access to the network. This will happen if she brings up Obama’s BC and/or if she agrees with the “birthers.” She will be defined as a nut. There goes her lucrative career supported by the MSM that want to bury the issue. Lou Dobbs, who has been insulted by the left, was told to can it as well. We'll see how the talkers hold out.

I haven't read the thread or looked at the video of the Coulter/Birther comments.
It's a non issue for this thread.

The McCain/Palin ticket was up 8 pts. days prior to September 18th.
Obama was losing until the DNC played their October surprise on the economy
and the RomneyTeam attacked Gov. Palin and her children to throw Election2008.
David Frum: "Frum was indeed a critic of Palin, calling her nomination a "huge mistake" during an October 13 Early Show appearance."
David Frum: "Two of our most plausible candidates for president in 2012 are leading Mormons: Mitt Romney and Utah governor Jon Huntsman."
David Frum: "I have a lot of regard for Mitt Romney as a man and politician.
Let me say for the record: If Romney emerges as the Republican nominee, I will support him without qualm."
Late in October, The American Spectator's The Prowler revealed:
"Former Mitt Romney presidential campaign staffers, some of whom are currently working for Sen. John McCain and Gov. Sarah Palin's bid for the White House,
have been involved in spreading anti-Palin spin to reporters, seeking to diminish her standing after the election.
'Sarah Palin is a lightweight, she won't be the first, not even the third, person people will think of when it comes to 2012,'
says one former Romney aide, now working for McCain-Palin.
'The only serious candidate ready to challenge to lead the Republican Party is Mitt Romney.
He's in charge on November 5th.'"
The Prowler added: "Some former Romney aides were behind the recent leaks to media, including CNN, that Governor Sarah Palin was a 'diva' and was going off message intentionally."
The Romney supporters in the McCain campaign had access to internal polling which indicated well in advance of the November 4 election that McCain had no chance to win.
So they began working to position their man Mitt for a run in 2012. Just two days after the election,The Palmetto Scoop reported:
"One of the first stories to hit the national airwaves was the claim of a major internal strife between close McCain aides and the folks handling his running mate Sarah Palin."
"Im told by very good sources that this was indeed the case and that a rift had developed, but it was between Palins people and the staffers brought on from the failed presidential campaign of former Gov. Mitt Romney, not McCain aides."
"The sources said nearly 80 percent of Romneys former staff was absorbed by McCain and these individuals were responsible for what amounts to a premeditated, last-minute sabotage of Palin."
These aides loyal to Romney inside the McCain campaign, said The Scoop, reportedly saw that Palin would be a serious contender for the Republican nomination in 2012 or 2016, which made her a threat to another presidential quest by Romney.
Erick Erickson, who organized Operation Leper, said:
"Heres what I think: I think there are some staffers on the McCain campaign who seriously screwed up the roll out of Sarah Palin, to which Governor Palin herself objected.
These staffers are now out trying to finish her off thinking, as typical D.C. types do, that if they dont do it to her, shell do it to them. They just never understood who Palin is or what she is about."
"Likewise, I do think there are some staffers and others who expect Mitt Romney to run again in 2012,
they decided McCain could not win, and decided to undermine Sarah Palin and her chances hoping it would ingratiate themselves with Mitt Romney."
"Who's the Palin Leaker from the McCain Campaign? (Mark Wallace, Romney pimp)
National Review Online The publication of a Vanity Fair profile of Sarah Palin
appears to have opened old wounds in the McCain campaign.
... the source of the Diva leak was Nicolle Wallaces husband."
Who benefits most from Sanford meltdown? Californian (that's right) Mitt Romney
"Peeking Out From the McCain Wreckage: Mitt Romney"
"Someone's got to say it: IS MITT ROMNEY RESPONSIBLE FOR OBAMA'S VICTORY?"
"Vanity: Team Romney Sabotaged Palin and Continuing to Do So?"
"Romney Supporters Trashing Palin"
"Romney advisors sniping at Palin?"

The reason I mention it is that the networks define people and given them a slot. Coulter is pitted against a Rhino (Frum) so that means she is more to the right. But I doubt she would have any status but a nut if she came out for the birthers. Birthers are now “nuts” and Obama's BC a non issue — Thus spake the MSM.
To: TheClintons-STILLAnti-American
Yes, Palin is “divisive”.
As the “winnowing fork”, she separates the wheat from the chaff.
You can’t help but choose a side and show where your loyalties lie. That’s divisive. The Man she follows was “divisive” as well.

He was afraid he couldn't give the election to Obama without help.

David Frum is a divisive, polarizaing figure, who was part of the hardcore group of “neoconservatives” that did so much to damage the Bush Administration and the conservative cause generally. Hardcore neoconservatives are former radicals who were “mugged by reality”, but who have never lost their radical temperament. Hence the ease with which they shift towards “statism”. Hence also why they are allergic to authentic conservatism. Hence their hatred of Governor Sarah Palin, who incarnates true conservatism.
