Democratic Party Official Slaps Obamacare Opponent at Town Hall (w/Photo)

TampaBay.com has a great photo sequence of a woman slapping a man in the face at yesterday's explosive town hall meeting in Tampa held by Rep. Kathy Castor and the goons from SEIU and Obama's Organizing for America.

What the Tribune failed to disclose was the fact that the woman doing the slapping is a local Democratic party official, specifically the treasurer of the East Hillsborough County Democratic Party Club.

In the eight-photo sequence, two men are seen arguing face to face, with one man wagging his finger in the face of the other. A woman standing behind the finger-wagger reaches around him and starts to push the other man. She then steps forward and give the other man an open palm slap across the face. According to the photo captions, the woman, Karen Miracle, claims she was protecting her husband, Garry Miracle, who supposedly has a heart condition, from the other man, Barry Osteen.

In none of the photos is the slapped man seen extending his arms or raising his hands.

Kind of deflates what one imagines when you hear the phrase “it's a miracle”! Yeah doesn't look like she whacked him much. She just wanted to. Figures that it appears he's a lawyer with emphasis in Social Security and personal injury. It's sad when people adopt a political position that so clearly just follows their own self interest. Maybe if they built custom kitchens or something for a living, you might not think of them as just hacks out to line their own pockets. Every time I find out someones a dim, I wonder where they tap into the govt. machine.

It would vary from situation to situation. In this particular case I'd be off to the local PD and file a formal criminal complaint charging this Dim with Assault and Battery. That would be the procedure in my Jurisdiction anyway.

One files the Complaint, swears it out, and the local PD goes and makes an arrest. I'd not only be there with my own videocamera, I'd alert all the local media to the upcoming fun as well.

As satisfying as it would be knocking this fat pig on her ass would be strategically unwise IMO.

Now, were it some 250 pound Union goon cranking up to hit me the scenario changes entirely. I would not permit him to strike me, in fact I'd put him on the ground with a rather painful injury.

My wife pushed a neighbor who was male over an argument about some grass we blew on to their property. She’s average size. So was he. He wasn’t injured. Just a push. We had to go to court for assault, and she was on probation for a year. My experience is you can’t touch someone.

If the conservative had responded by knocking her hand away, do you have any doubt that her personal-injury-lawyer husband would not not have a lawsuit filed the same day?

That's the Left's tactic: they push, and tolerate nothing in response. We need to take the same attitude.

My inclination, based on this, would have been to “pat” her fuzzy little head and comment on her raising, to see if that would provoke a more actionable response (maybe from the TOL).... This country boy don’t like being “messed” with.

And her personal-injury-lawyer husband would have had a lawsuit filed the same day that claimed that your submission hold permanently damaged her wrist, rendering her unable to work, and suing you and everybody connected to you for a million dollars.

That's what they would have WANTED you to do, with lots of pictures being taken.

It would not have mattered if they won or lost. They would have forced you to spend thousands on lawyers handling depositions.

Maybe the woman’s husband should stay home if he has a heart condition rather than arguing politics - which will drive anyone’s blood pressure through the roof.

I think she realized too late that she had just assaulted a man and had no excuse.
