I have a hypothesis that throughout all of human history there have been dictatorships because some people want to rule, and some people love to have a powerful leader. When you look at the individual, say Hitler, Mao, Genghis Khan, Herod, Saddam, bin Laden, etc., you miss the point that really they're all the same. Only the reasons and excuses have changed. Sometimes the excuse is religion (Saudi Arabia) and sometimes communism (Cuba), but in the end, there is no difference.
Obama is a wannabe dictator, and all those who follow him are the same type of people who followed Hitler. The formula for oppression is pretty well established now, and Obama knows it as well as anyone. I don't believe Obama is on the same plane of evil as Hitler, but he certainly looks at our freedoms as an inconvenience that must be ended. Without a doubt, he is the most dangerous president we have known, including Carter.

Unless the4 person being compared to Hitler does an undeniably Hitlerian thing (like threatening to wipe th Jews from the map. See: the President of Iran), ANY, and I mean ANY comparison to Hitler works against the one who is making the comparison and NOT the one being compared

Obama has staked his presidency on getting THIS health care takeover in place by the end of this year and he is not going to take NO for an answer. He is like a two year old having a temper tantrum and we can only wonder what he is like behind closed doors.
I picture him crawling on the floor and chewing on the oval office carpet in a fit of rage over these tea parties and these old people, who he thought would follow him off a cliff or into a cattle car, actually standing up to his gestapo henchmen.
This man can do a lot of damage if we don't do all we can to limit his power. And to think this megalomaniac has the keys to the nuclear arsenal.
I hate to predict the future because no one can. When Obama was elected, I said he's overreach, in six months there would be a backlash, his popularity would fall, and he'd just change tactics not strategy. It would fail, and he'd be miserably unpopular and not stand a chance at reelection. The Democrats would take the hit in 2010 and lose one or both houses. The government would stall.
Well, so far I'm on a roll. I remember Clinton's first term. he overreached, lost popularity, and he changed strategy. He implemented some conservative ideas, but mostly just talked and did nothing. Obama is far more the committed leftist and will not change his quest.
He's also not nearly as smart as Clinton. He makes rookie mistakes constantly. He will be the (temporary) death of the Democrats. Let's make sure the Republicans are ready to jump in.

When it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, then it is logical to assume that you are dealing with a duck.
