Over 680 Patriots met once again, outside Congressman Brad Miller's Raleigh office on Friday, August 7th, to protest against ObamaCare. Nine conservatives from the 13th District were allowed to meet with Miller, and they did not leave happy. They felt that Miller was arrogant, "condescending", and even told them, "I don't care if you trust me." According to one constituent, after provided with the facts, Miller tells them it's all "belligerent" and "internet rhetoric", he's seen all the internet hate speech, and he knows what we're all about. Oh really, Mr. Miller?
Another meeting participant said this, "I personally asked Brad Miller why the rush - his response was not "because Americans are hurting" or anything even remotely sympathetic to you and your injured tooth - his response was, "When you are the football coach, you don't call a time out when your team is moving the ball". Once again the media slanted the story. Only the Raleigh News and Observer gave an accurate count of protesters against the issue, while WRAL's report helped one to assume that St. Mary's street was the dividing line between hundreds against and hundreds for the socialistic agenda of President Obama and Rep. Miller.
Of course, all media reports focused on the WRONG issues -- WRAL even leading with the "angry mob" slant and the so-called death threat against Brad Miller. Instead of getting to the facts about why the world comes to America for their health care, the media showed the sob stories of those who won't buy medical insurance but prefer to receive it for free from the taxpayers, and even interviewing one doctor promoting ObamaCare out of the countless physicians who are against socialized medicine, such as this woman at the protest. Randy Dye, from the Triangle, was interviewed by ABC and brought to light the fact that the VA Hospitals are a type of socialized medicine and are "overwhelmed" despite the best efforts of the doctors and nurses there.
NCFreedom interviewed several of the peaceful protestors and we'll show you what the main stream media won't -- the fact that this movement is made up of regular, every day Americans, not astroturf as Nancy Pelosi accuses and they are not plants. Rather, we are Patriots who love this country and want our Congressmen to read the bills, listen to us (we ARE the majority here), and if they still vote for the darn health care bill, get on the plan themselves.
And remember, in 2010, let's make Congress "One Miller light!"

Miller is every bit the socialist bandit that Obama is. They must be stopped and NC is realizing what is happening.
The NC unemployment rate well in double digits reflects what the Democrats have been able to get away with in this state for a long time. But the chickens are finally coming home.
