Years ago, I worked for a large retailer at little better than minimum wage. I took the job for many reasons; salary wasn't one of them. At UW time, I didn't donate because I absolutely despise them. Management made it clear to me that my life would become miserable if I did not donate. They wanted that 100% banner. I wrote them a check for $1. And it hurt to write it for that much.
It's mutual, slug bait.

Like when O-boy said “Americans shouldn’t have to worry about how they’re going to make their mortgage payment or fill their gas tank.” And idiots actually believe that he will make their house payments and gas will be free.
