I’d say we were looking at two different formations here. The one for Pres. Bush was informal and personal feeling were allowed to be expressed. The formation for Obama was more formal, everyone was at attention when Obama entered and thus were not allowed to applaud (even if a few really wanted to).
By far the majority of the military is conservative. However I can tell you from first hand experience (and that’s all I’ll say) that there is a noticiable minority of officers that are of a liberal mindset. That being said, anyone who signs up to defend the country gets my respect.
Now if we could just figure out a way to get their votes counted.
So when the Revolutionary War II begins and zero orders the military to fire on its own citizens, we can expect a military coup and this guy’s end?
