Any idea as to numbers of Tea Partiers?
I was there and I’d say there were probably 100 - 150 in attendance. The pics at El Marco’s site are great. You should check them out if you get a chance.
That’s the unwitting objective of the teaparty movement....to influence the media. The media is a distraction.
They may be a distraction but they are still a big part of the problem. IMO.
I didn’t say they weren’t a problem...but organizing to influence them while our elected officials burn the house down isn’t a good use of our time/$/sacred honor.
What do you recommend doing then? (Just curious.)
It’s not you, Dinah...don’t take it personally, but I’ve been asked that many many times here on FR. I’m tired of providing lists of tactics because no one is ready for them. I fear most are simply satisfied to keep doing the same thing over and over (calls, fax, email, teaparty) and hoping for a different outcome next time. Sigh.
