2012 Bumper Stickers

Posted on 11/11/2009 9:25:50 AM PST by MNDude

"Hope and Change" seemed to be pretty popular in 2008.

What do you think bumper stickers will be saying (or should be saying) for the republicans and democrats in 2012?

I think conservatives underestimate the power of bumper stickers, especially ones with catchy phrases. Remember “Flip Flopper” from the 2004 election?

There are so many ignorant sheeples out there who will vote for who “everyone else” thinks is the best.

A bumper sticker is an easy way to plant a seed in a feeble mind. And there are ALOT of them out there.

Mine says “Obama Lied and the Economy Died”

“America is ready for two women...Yes two!” Although I am not sure that America is ready for two women but one of them would be good for a start. America has never voted for a women President or Vice President yet. In fact, we have had two women on the Vice President ticket and they both lost.

Dissent is Patriotic!

That is too Democratic Party. They were saying this all though 2003-2008 and we hated it. Remember they tried to say this when they did not support the Iraq War.

Direct, succinct and simple. Outstanding.

I think it's best to avoid being "too clever by half" with concocted slogans and made-up words - the apolitical types that we're trying to win over cannot be expected to "get" those messages. Keep it simple and it'll resonate with more people.
