This is almost unbelievable in regards to how many people, organizations, etc... etc... are involved in this. Just amazing. I find myself worrying for the hacker’s safety (I know it’s wrong legally, but he DEFINITELY did the right thing exposing this — their crimes are ten MILLION times worse than what this hacker has done)
It's bigger than the regular mafia. These guys appear to be engaging in fraud and extortion, had gotten huge amounts of money in grants, for a scheme that was likely to result in many BILLIONS of dollars for insiders.

If this turns out to be real, this is going to confirm every damn conspiracy theory I’ve harbored about these bastards. The punishment should be extremely severe.

Philip Jones, the Director of Hadley CRU — he already admitted everything, he essentially pleaded guilty by confessing that everything in this file was genuine.
Then his assistant, followed by the professor from the Univ. of VA, and the Univ. of AZ — then just go on down the line.
I wonder what legal agencies will be involved in this investigation... I can’t even begin to imagine what will be involved. This is a worldwide scandal — where will they try everyone? The Americans in the US courts, and everyone else in their respective countries, or will there be an international tribunal or something???

Steve McIntyre of Climate Audit.org has verified that the email correspondence from him to the fraudsters at Hadley are authentic. This will go ballistic very soon.
Sent the link for the file to Sen Inhofe just now with text of a couple of the most incriminating emails. Hope he picks up and runs with it. He should be holding a press conference on the Capitol steps this afternoon with printed copies of these emails to pass out to the press.
Al Gore will probably just pop.

I’m sitting here in awe at the size of this scandal. I mean we knew it was all fake, but to have the proof?!?!?! This is SWEET! Can you say Schadenfreude?
True... I found it interesting that Jones said he was notified by his “colleagues” that they had the information, then he says that they told him they would send it to him, but never did. It’s probably someone on the inside who just could NOT stand it anymore!
