Copenhagen climate summit in disarray after 'Danish text' leak
Guardian ^ | 12.08.2009 | John Vidal

The UN Copenhagen climate talks are in disarray today after developing countries reacted furiously to leaked documents that show world leaders will next week be asked to sign an agreement that hands more power to rich countries and sidelines the UN's role in all future climate change negotiations.

You may have something there - especially since it was the Russians who leaked all those CRU email messages a week or two ago.

As the world’s largest exporter of petroleum and natural gas, they have a lot to lose if Obama, the UN, and the Euro-weenies get their way at Copenhagen.

The Russians probably told Barry as much during his visit.

Trouble is, Barry just a puppet of the NWO.

A “six year old with a crayon” could make that claim also.

That would a wonderful way for it to go down, as they all scream and pummel each other in the hallways, and Bambi - who thought he had a sure thing going - wanders in with his nose up in the air and trips over them.

This thing is shaping up to be such a mess that the Obozo would be wise to give it a pass. However, he's so incredibly arrogant and narcissistic, he probably thinks he can bring all these disparate factions together. Fat. Chance.

The big boys think the UN is inept and want the power in their hands again.

It's a sign that they're serious. The UN hasn't quite lived down that oil-for-food scandal. The World Bank hasn't been exposed (as of yet, anyway) in the same spotlighted way.

On the other hand, consider this paragraph in the article: "The so-called Danish text, a secret draft agreement worked on by a group of individuals known as "the circle of commitment" – but understood to include the UK, US and Denmark – has only been shown to a handful of countries since it was finalised this week" Therein is tempting grist for a ribbing:

That’s 100 times higher than what experts say is the Rockefellers’ combined wealth, and probably 1,000 times higher than the estimated combined wealth for the Rothschilds.

Don’t be so sure .... this “Danish text” was agreed upon by the US, the UK, and Denmark, and gives “developed nations” (like us) much more “right” to emit carbon per person than any of the developing nations.

That’s why the developing nations are so upset - they want to be able to “pollute” as much as the big boys, like the US! But apparently Obama and Brown don’t want them to.

>> Hmmmm...I wonder if this is about more than global warming?

The Survival of the Fattest, a sculpture by Danish artist Jens Galschiot, is seen in the harbour of Copenhagen. The sculpture represents an overweight Lady Justice figurine, symbolising the rich industrialised world, sitting on the back of a thin African man. <<

The only people who really screwed Africa over the last 1,000 years have been from the Middle East and Europe, has not much to do with America.

They keep wanting to brainwash all into thinking America was just as guilty for the sins of “European Colonialism” when in fact America was a “Product of Colonialism”. In our case we were lucky enough to have Founding fathers and a more perfect union. They forget we had to spend a lot of time in the 20th century cleaning up the messes of “European Colonialism” gone awry, let’s see Vietnam (french IndoChina), Africa(lots of aid sent there), China (we are still dealing with some of the crap from that), etc... etc....

The Europeans should be kissing our damn feet for the work we have done cleaning up their damned messes.

“The so-called Danish text, a secret draft agreement worked on by a group of individuals known as “the circle of commitment” – but understood to include the UK, US and Denmark – has only been shown to a handful of countries since it was finalised this week.”

“It is being done in secret. Clearly the intention is to get [Barack] Obama and the leaders of other rich countries to muscle it through when they arrive next week.”

Ya think? Does sound like SOP for Obama and his ilk.

I still think anything they do is DOA in our Senate. As corrupt and worthless as that body is, 50 votes or 60 votes won’t cut it; they need 67. I don’t see them getting 67 votes to kill the coal and oil industries.

The Senate doesn't have to do anything. The EPA did the job for them.
