WASHINGTON — U.S. Rep. Dan Boren, Oklahoma's only Democrat in Congress, predicts his party will lose seats in elections later this year.
"If we have a tight majority one way or another, that puts me in the driver's seat,'' the three-term lawmaker said.
"In the 112th (Congress), I probably will have the most influence I have ever had, no matter who has the majority.''

As the states only Democrat congressional rep, he walks a fine line. He generally votes Republican, but he can be bought and has been often. If the Republicans do manage a take over, I expect he will switch parties if he can get a good price for doing it.

Oklahoman’s of his district, you can do something about him!
He’s in the driver’s seat. And he’s driving us over a cliff.
We hope to do so, too.

Not to “call names” but cong boren is a lowlife, creep, scum who cares more about his “power” than anything else.
What a jerk! I hope we run someone against him this time that can win. Looks to me like he is For Sale to the highest bidder.
He voted for Pelosi and for the stimulus — he needs to find a new line of work. Anyone heard if they have someone good to run against him. Several have said his district is not happy with him and this will make them more unhappy. With Dr. Coburn on the ticket along with statewide races, maybe we can defeat him. Dr. Coburn held that seat originally before he left the House.
Heard for months that he might switch but I will believe it when I see and still won’t trust him.
