I was thinking about why these businesses were supporting this monster bill. One of the reasons may be big business has been been for a long time installing CEOs and other officers that usually don’t know the product of their business at all and so many of them have mergered. Do you think this may have been engineered until these commies were ready to take over? I know when the company my husband worked for sold by a private owner, a group with Henry Kissenger paid big bucks for it. My husband said these people weren’t going to put money up unless there was a lot more money to be made. I agree.

Any thoughts?

I was thinking about why these businesses were supporting this monster bill.

It's simple - they are getting an implicit guarantee, as a new "partner" with the government, that they will be able to maintain their current market position. They have the staff and resources to handle the paperwork and expenses generated by onerous new legislation, and they are betting their smaller, younger competitors don't and will be forced to sell out or merge.

Most large multi-national corporations hate capitalism. The continual emergence of new competitors makes it too unpredictable.
