Martha Says You’re Not Smart Enough To Understand Health Care
96.9 Boston Talks/Fox 25 Boston ^ | 1/18/2009 | Michael Graham

Posted on 01/18/2010 6:30:52 AM PST by Dayvester

This is a fascinating interview of Martha Coakley this morning on a local TV station, focusing mostly on health care. Note how Martha Coakley dismisses the concerns that voters have about health care by claiming the voters are too “unfocused,” don’t really understand this issues involved, etc.

In particular, watch her adamant response to the question about the fact that 61 percent of voters in the Suffolk poll don’t think we can afford government-run health care. “Are they wrong?” the interviewer asks.

“They ARE wrong,” Coakley practically shouts...

Someone needs to keep Marcia away from microphones. I can’t remember seeing a candidate this bad... and I’m old enough to remember when John McCain ran for POTUS.

LOL!

Wow did this woman corner the market on arrogance?
61% against and the democRAT says their wrong!

Unbelievable. People are focused on their own health and that is why they want government to keep its hands off of personal decisions about health.

After this clown, Coakley, loses for Senate, I will support happily her nomination for Democrat candidate for President. She is priceless - the gift that keeps on giving.

When the masses first oppose, the elite take that as “proof” of their assumption of superiority - “see, the rubes don’t understand the superiority of this idea”.

Then, like you said, if the resistance continues, they will use force to make the ignorant masses comply with their superior vision.

What we’re seeing now is a bit of a twist on that, though.
I believe that the elite that are presently in power are just sick and tired of the resistance, and are looking to PROVOKE a reaction that will justify wholesale extermination and incarceration of their political opposition.

When Ted Kennedy died Massachusetts officials could have held the special election immediately. If they had held it then Martha would have won, hands down.

Instead they changed the law (yet again)and appointed an old Kennedy hack so he could hold the seat and vote for ObamaCare.

Martha's Theme (to the Cheer's theme/Every knows your name)

Sharing the stage with the mayor of town and the prez of the U.S.A

Behind in the polls, the other guy's on a roll, it's more than just one of those days

Couldn't the Earth just open up?

What could possibly worse you ask?

The late Senator's son doesn't know your name.

Just go outside and hang your head in shame.

Would somebody please just hand me a gun, so I can blow out my brains.

The late Senator's son doesn't even know my name.

I found it kind of odd that she spoke before the president. He came to support her....Shouldn’t he have spoken before her? She was dead. Then he comes up and the crowd kicks it up a notch. The heckler however was great. Whoever it was stopped Obama cold.

This guy is such a phoney baloney. NOthing but a huge egomaniac, who sucking up the fruits of his job.

This guy is so full of himself and so out of touch with the common guy out there that it’s scary.

He doesn’t represent me.

I found it odd listening to him on Sunday. He clearly does not represent me...does not care about me....etc.

I’m a conservative, not fanatically so, but one who probably is like many others out there now who have had enough of this. Who is hopping mad...at what I’ve seen this first year.

We need strong leaders, hopefully they’ll emerge from our military, and will seed the legislatures for years to come.

Not the Murtha and Kerry types, but the Jim Gant and Petreus types.

Never heard of Jim Gant? read this post:

I guess then Mass residents are too stupid to vote. Perhaps we should bring back the royal class.

It’s so ironic. Classic liberalism proclaimed freedom for the people in response to the concept that it was the biologic, hereditary monarchy who knew what was best for the people. Now, modern day liberalism claims the intellectual, monarchist elite knows best.
