House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) says there is no truth to reports that President Barack Obama will press Congress to pass a significantly smaller healthcare reform bill.
"I don't have reason to believe that that's accurate," Hoyer told The Hill following a speech at a Federation of American Hospitals conference Tuesday.

the Summit should never have happened. Obama ruled supreme over the meeting, like a potentate, obstensiously to hammer out a bill.
since when is this how laws are written in this country? We have a separation of powers for a reason. And the Executive Branch is NOT the law making branch!
But he, as the KING he sees himself, has come up with his OWN bill? He's bypassing both Houses and making law?
