Humperdinck: First things first, to the death.
Westley: No. To the pain.
Humperdinck: I don’t think I’m quite familiar with that phrase.
Westley: I’ll explain and I’ll use small words so that you’ll be sure to understand, you warthog faced buffoon.
Humperdinck: That may be the first time in my life a man has dared insult me.
Westley: It won’t be the last. “To the pain” means the first thing you lose will be your feet, below the ankles, then your hands at the wrists. Next, your nose.
Humperdinck: [losing his patience] And then my tongue, I suppose. I killed you too quickly the last time, a mistake I don’t mean to duplicate tonight.
Westley: I wasn’t finished! The next thing you lose will be your left eye, followed by your right
Humperdinck: [exasperated] And then my ears. I understand! Let’s get on with it
Westley: WRONG! Your ears you keep, and I’ll tell you why. So that every shriek of every child at seeing your hideousness will be yours to cherish. Every babe that weeps at your approach, every woman who cries out, “Dear God, what is that thing?” will echo in your perfect ears. That is what “to the pain” means. It means I leave you in anguish, wallowing in freakish misery forever.
Humperdinck: ... I think you’re bluffing.
It will not matter at all if the dimoKKKRATS in the House pass the Senate version of the Health-Care plan. Then all Obama has to do is sign it and it is a done deal.
Party time.
I remember a similar threat from a certain Black Knight. The retort was “what are you going to do, bleed on me?”
Bring it dems!
Bivouack in the cloak room suckkers.
Republicans have P-38 can openers
and know how to use them.
A little “health care” surgery
can be done with them too.
Sounds like the Republicans need to promise a little “pain”. These @sshats need to be dealt with on their own turf. I’m sick of their threats. This really is war on American Freedom! This is not the Country I grew up in. Yes, there were Communists but they were in the closet. Now they’re in my face!!
Let’s start making the big pots of spaghetti sauce then! To the mattresses ...
I’d say Bring it On, except I’ve seen McConnell and Trent Lott agree to suspend far too often in order to make a tee time
By then the damage will have been done. It's just collateral damage to them.
Our country will be forever altered, with no chance of ever going back. We will be a socialist nation.
I would roll in a full size twin bed and ny spongebob bedspread. I would have my neon toothbrush and pop tarts in my ICarly backpack.
All set.
Isn't that the truth? Since the Senate has already passed its bill, all they need to do is have the House pass the same bill and they are done. Why is he talking about amendments?
Sounds like this bill isn't the slam dunk it should be.
I still think the entertainment is in the House. Listening to that Paragon of Ethics, one Granny Pelosi talk her gibberish, is more fun than...
Bring it on.
Bring...it...on...
I think the talk about amendments is too fool the GOP and the critical Democrats. Fool them into not fighting this so hard. It’s a trap.
Not as bad as the PAIN you RATS are going to be feeling in November, Sherrod!!
lol
Sherrod Brown Will 'Absolutely' Push For Public Option ... -
October 2006, suggests that opponent Sherrod Brown did not pay an unemployment tax bill for 13 years
Brown is consistently one of the most liberal members of Congress
Brown's wife, Connie Schultz, is a columnist at Cleveland's Plain Dealer newspaper
Brown's daughter Emily works for the Service Employees International Union
daughter Elizabeth was an editorial assistant at New York Magazine and is currently a communication staff person for the Ohio House Democratic Caucus
Brown's sister-in-law Anne M. Swanson is communications attorneys in Washington D.C..
This reminds me of Clubber Lang’s famous line in Rocky 3, “what is your prediction? My prediction?, yes your prediction. Pain...”
They have a majority in both houses, why can’t they pass anything they want?
