Scott Brown beat the snot out of Marsha Choakley in Delahunt’s district. We used to have a couple of Republican Congressmen, in fact Delahunt’s district was recently Republican. The Commonwealth may be ripe for a Republican resurgence. Four of the last five governors were Republicans.
It'd be kind of hard to win the state otherwise, wouldn't it?

Well Delahunt’s (The people’s) seat has been vacant for 40 years now. He’s definitely one of the most unimpressive people in all of Congress.
Great another very rabid anti-second amendment nut gone.

Who's got the better work ethic? Kerry or Delahunt?
Not all 40 years in U.S. Congress.
His predecessor was Gerry Studds (D) (1973-1997)
Preceded by Hastings Keith (R) (1959-1973)
Another ‘rat cashing in his chips!
Yes he did win the district, including Hyannisport!
Scott Brown won 4 of the congressional districts.
We fought hard on Nantucket for Brown. The final result was a win for Coakley, but was within about 75 votes. A strong Republican has a great chance in the district as it is currently drawn.
