I wouldn’t buy any stock in Blockbuster.

Every Blockbuster store that I know of in town (Boise, ID) has closed it’s doors. About 6 or 7 of them.
Locally they got killed by Hastings with cheaper rentals and more forgiving on late fees also books, music and coffee.
Netflix/Redbox was the nail in the coffin.
I’m sure there are a few left in town somewhere, just not in the areas I go.

I saw a Blockbuster store the other day, first one in a long time. Didn't know they were still in business.

I wouldn't buy stock either; otoh. . .I love Blockbuster; and while it may be in it's death throes; I will be there, still picking up videos that I could otherwise order from home. I am visual; enjoy perusing; consulting; handling the videos; reading the small print on back. . .OR I can just grab one. . .whatEVER; I prefer that to 'mailing'; which for me is a total pain, and far less pleasant than Blockbuster environment and appreciating all their efforts made to accomodate a customer.
And yes, like 'full serve' gas stations where sadly, only a 'few' survive; they will not.
The old 'use it; or lose it' - and liking to at least contribute to keeping people employed; I try to 'use' it, locally.
