So if you get through the switchboard to a sniveling Rat-brat Dem aide, what good will it do to argue points on this bill.
We know the brats hate having to talk to the "dirty little people" out here. The phone lines must be the bane of their existence.
So why not remind them that if Obamacare passes, they will forever be receiving the pleas for help and sob stories that used to go to the doctor's receptionist and the insurance company.
That's right little congressional staffer. From now on, people will have to resort to lobbying their congressional office for approval on treatments of hemorrhoidal problems, on yellow chest congestion, on leaky colostomy bags, on venereal medications, on all sorts of personal "nitty gritty." And THEY will be taking those calls.
Is that what they want? Do they realize that what their boss and their fuhrer is telling them to push for will end up in their laps on the front line? I think it would cut through the clutter for them. Might spawn some pretty good water cooler discussions in DC, no?

The National Republican Congressional Committee has published a target list on health care. In addition to continuing to contact the five Tennessee Democrat Congressmen, you can go http://www.votervoice.net/link/clickthrough/ext/94697.aspx to contact some of these targets. Much of the talk following Obama’s announcement has focused on how to defeat this second bill through reconciliation, but that is misleading because the first step to defeating Obamacare is not by concentrating on defeating the “fixer” bill but by defeating the Senate bill in the House when it goes to the floor for an up-or-down vote on Thursday, March 18th.

Yep, good idea. And if Obama puts price controls on private insurance premium costs like he’s planning on doing, it’s going to drive private insurers out of business. So, your only option for health insurance will be the government stuff. We’ll be calling Kathleen Sibelius’s office all the time, too, since she’ll be in charge of resolving government insurance disputes. She’s going to have to put in a lot more telephone lines to handle calls from 300 million people demanding a resolution of their insurance problems.
How much do you want to bet the line will be busy all day long like telephone lines are when you try to call for help with tax questions?
The next John Q Victims will be the fault of 0bamacare- zero and the Dims. Demonize the government for anything wrong that happens in the health care system. Did you have to wait in line? Does your doctor no longer accept Medicare? Was your drug or procedure denied?
0bama and the Dims will use “shell” insurance companies (Blue Cross, UHC, Aetna etc.) as proxies for the public wrath for poor and denied care. Never fall for this scheme. These “shell” companies will eventually become mere administrators for government financed and controlled. Voila, we have the single payer government run health care and private insurance will be dead.

It said now the Federal student loans will have the identical terms as the private banks.

Do I understand that you’re saying that supporters of the health care bill are given toll-free numbers to get to their congress people and everyone who is against the bill is supposed to pay for the long distance call? Is this legal? Who set up the toll-free numbers?

With 46% of doctors refusing to practice under obamacare, we are going to have a severe doctor shortage...health care rationing will begin and old geezers like me will get the brunt of it. Nothing was said about how many nurses or NP’s will not want to practice under obamacare. He may have just single handedly RUINED the best health system in the world.

However, you raise a good point.
Right now, a lot of us live in districts with Democrat representatives who will not listen to us, or help us with conservative positions of course.
So who’s to say they will be helpful to us in resolving our healthcare/single-payer issues when they find out which campaign we contributed to, or that we are registered R’s?
Unsettling at the least. Sure they won’t admit to it, but who’s to say the staffer doesn’t notice we’re on an R list and put our phone message at the bottom of the pile?

Heard a caller on a morning show mention this as coming to the nearest congressional critter. Apparently the VA already tells it’s clients to call them and complain. Have they any idea of what it will become like once they’re the point people for everyone?
