Last night, as the clock approached midnight and the long House debate on health care reform was finally winding down, Rep. Bart Stupak stepped to the microphone on the floor of the chamber to deliver his remarks.
Snip
But the "Baby killer furor" highlights a far more serious, long-term political dilemma for the Republicans: how to appear to be a respectable Party capable of governing while also providing political shelter for the highly motivated, though vocally disruptive, protest wing of the party associated with the Tea Party movement.

Barack Obama doesn’t like American people.
I have a sense that Indonesians are his favorite.
Oh that’s priceless. This internal DEMOCRAT division on abortion threatened to derail the greatest goal of the political Left in 100 years, and the MSM refer to it as a Republican problem. I’d laugh if I wasn’t consumed by fear today, fear for what kind of country my children will grow up in.
This is exactly the same thing with Democrats against Republicans. They say even more outrageous things and get away with it because they are black Democrats or gay, like Frank is. How many times have they lied, called us “racists,” and “tea baggers?”
The Media never defends Republicans and always defends liberals actively, or by simply ignoring their words.
Probelems in GOP. F%^K Them. How bout the fact they just voted to kill babies.
I would expect nothing less from Yahoo’s pet faggot, Brett Michael Dykes:
Brett Michael Dykes - Born in Thibodaux, LA and raised in the small Cajun community of Chauvin, LA, Brett moved to New York in the summer of 2002 to pursue a life in the arts. He has written for numerous print and web publications and is the author of the popular blog, Cajun Boy In The City, which has been featured in The New York Times, Gawker.com, Wonkette.com, Jossip.com, Deadspin.com, Pink is the New Blog, DailyKos and many others. He has also acted in numerous off-Broadway productions in both lead and supporting roles.
IT WAS A SET UP.
Stupid-Pact was given this face-saving b.s. move which will be challenged by NOW. The Obama Justice Department will tank on it and it will be overturned.
Which is more respectable, calling someone a baby-killer, or being a baby-killer?
Bart Stupak will be responsible for a lot of deaths, if this bill isn’t somehow killed.
“The Media never defends Republicans and always defends liberals actively, or by simply ignoring their words.”
It is well past time to hold the state run media accountable for what has happened to this country!
The Pravda Media colludes with the Democrat Party. The whole “culture of corruption” discussion in 2006 was a coordinate meme between the DNC and the media. The media and DNC SAT on Foleygate until it could be used as an October Suprise to castigate the entire GOP (this came out in the subsequent congressional investigation).
The media pushes an agenda and lies routinely by omission or outright manufacture of “evidence”. As ROTTEN as propagandists in Stalinist Russia.
Yahoo is nothing more than a propaganda news site for the demented socialist scumbags. Nearly everything that has to do with politics is spun to support the dems. It really would be a pleasure to see every one of these dolts hung from the gallows.
There’s no need for Neugebauer to take the fall for me. I was the one who yelled “Baby Killer”. The TRUTH hurts, eh Stupak?
“how to appear to be a respectable Party capable of governing while also providing political shelter for the highly motivated, though vocally disruptive, protest wing of the party associated with the Tea Party movement.”
Since when have Republicans not been the fringe party, the outsider party, the party with some explaining to do? The Coolidge administration? Heck, we’re still the outsiders when we’re in power. That’s just how Washington/the MSM thinks. Nothing to see here. Yawn.
Sheppie Smith, who has made it clear he is in the tank for ObamaCare, made a bigger deal out of the “baby killer” comment than any of the real issues when he just talked to (or actually, repeatedly interrupted) Michael Steele.
No I am Sparticus. Oh Oh, wrong place.
No I yelled “Baby Killer”. that fixes it.
Oh please, these people are deranged.
That flag has been around forever and has nothing to do with militia groups. Boy oh boy are they in a snit.
The Pro-life Award that was going to be given to Judas Stupak should now be given to the fine fellow that called out "Baby Killer". That fellow needs to be raised on a pedestal and congratulated with honor.
Someone please tell me just exactly how Stupak is NOT a baby killer! I will not accept the fact that he does not wield the vacuum.
