TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - John McCain is reuniting with his former running mate Sarah Palin, but not all Palin fans are happy about it.

A handful of Palin supporters have set up outside a rally in Tucson featuring McCain and Palin.

Former congressman and conservative talk-radio host JD Hayworth has launched a primary challenge to McCain saying the four-term Arizona senator isn't conservative enough for Arizona voters.

Jennifer Leslie of Oro Valley, Ariz., says she's an avid Palin fan but will be voting for Hayworth in the August primary.

It’s a big tent. After John loses, I’d welcome him to run for the House. I’d be happy to see him come on as freshmen representative, sit on a back bench, and take his marching orders from a senior conservative just like he did under Reagan.

McCain caused incredible damage to this country. We will see if it is permanent in Nov.

We may all be deemed enemies of the state before the elections. If so, you can thank McCain-Feingold.

I should have added /sarc. McCain can only be trusted as long his own opinions aren't allowed to influence anything including his own vote.

McCain had served in the House prior to his election to the Senate.

“It’s a big tent. After John loses, I’d welcome him to run for the House. I’d be happy to see him come on as freshmen representative, sit on a back bench, and take his marching orders from a senior conservative just like he did under Reagan.”

McCain started out in the House of Reps. and the other GOP reps don’t think much of him..

“Mr. Sensenbrenner goes on to say that he has no relationship with Mr. McCain, with whom he served two terms in the House in the 1980’s. “There’s some senators who come back from whence they came, and McCain is not one of them,” Mr. Sensenbrenner says. ‘‘When he left, we never saw him again.’’
