Obama: You know, my plan’s a lot like RomneyCare, isn’t it?

Alternate headline: “Obama hands devastating new attack ad to Romney opponents on a silver platter.” If you don’t have time to watch this now, no worries: You’ll be seeing the part about Mitt in eight thousand different GOP primary spots starting early next year. So brutal is it — think what kind of beating Charlie Crist is taking over the photo of him hugging Obama, then multiply by a thousand — that I’m tempted to believe The One set out to mention Romney with that idea in mind. If he can take out a potentially dangerous Republican nominee early in the game by talking him up, why not talk him up? Coming soon: Obama praises Romney as the sort of centrist, statist, secretly pro-choice Republican America needs. Game over, man.

THANK YOU OBAMA!!!! LOL!!!

The GOP can not run against Obamacare and run Romney for president. They must choose one or the other.

“If he can take out a potentially dangerous Republican nominee [like Romney] early in the game...”

Really? Conservatives are giving Romney the time of day? Their cash? Their vote?

ROFLMAO!

Another misstep by The Boy Wonder.

Quit ‘misunderestimating’ us, Zero.

Gawd, he’s completely tone deaf...and STILL the MSM carries his water! *SNORT*

All depends what side you are looking from.

Alternate alternate headline: “Obama hands devastating new attack ad to Obama opponents on a silver platter.”

“You elected me to push the agenda of the Democratic Party and I give you the Heritage Foundation agenda instead. We just spent a year forcing through a Republican’s idea. I just told you what suckers you are but you still have to cheer for me cause if you don’t, you’re racist.”

While Gov.Palin and America were working to stop ObamaCARE
where was the most-RINO backstabber-in-chief Mitt Romney?

Hiding, sending out his manipulators,
selling his ghostwritten book,
helping Gore push the fraud of climate change,
and actually (true to form) attacking the "tea party".

Rick Santorum and Tim Pawlenty are bashing RomnyCare. They say we need to repeal ObamaCare or else the whole country will be like MA.

Without RomneyCare, Massachusetts was still doomed.

There is one thing all you supposed constitutionalists overlook: this program was instituted in one state, and was therefore allowed by the US Constitution. If it has turned out to be a bad policy, then: 1. No one else has to emulate it; 2. it can easily be repealed in Massachusetts, in the unlikely chance that people there suddenly get intelligent.

One of the advantages of the federal system is that states can (within limits) experiment. Massachusetts also has very restrictive gun laws. Other states don’t have to imitate that, either.

You can always move from Massachusetts, whereas it is much less convenient and more unsavory to have to move out of the whole USA, which is necessary to escape federal laws.

I think that it would be a good idea if FR stopped dumping on one potential Republican presidential candidate, when there is no great supply of viable alternatives. I like Palin myself, but in no way could she win a national election. All the other alternative candidates are poorly known at this point. but I have hopes that others will come to the forefront.

Any Republican is better than any Democrat. I don’t think that there has been a good Democrat since Cleveland or Tilden or Martin van Buren. Period.

One has to wonderful why if RomneyCare was/is so wonderful, then why didn’t masses and masses of people move to MA? Probably because the liberals with money really *don*t* want to pay for it (just sounds good in theory) and those without insurance are mostly getting the health care that they need, one way or another.

But guess which state is probably losing at least one rep...MA.

Romney is the ticket to another Obamao win. I hope Republicans figure it out before the primaries. We need to win these next two battles, not surrender.

It is a rash assumption to link the population changes in the country to the Massachusetts health-insurance scheme (which, incidentally, I would never have favored, if I lived there). The Easern states, particularly New England, have been losing population relative to the country for years.

There are many other reasons not to live in Massachusetts: it is not called “Taxachusetts” for nothing. Even property taxes are sky high. The gun laws are ridiculous: almost as bad as CA and NJ. The state of MA is highly corrupt. First you have the Kennedy clan. Then you have Boston, the only city in the country where the local FBI office was actually infiltrated by the local Irish mafia. It is a state with a majority Catholic population which apparently has NO pro-life congressional representation! The more beautiful the scenery, the dumber the electorate: thus we get Barney Frank.

Ugh. I would not want to carry MA plates on my car. When you consider all that, Romney did very well in such an unfavorable environment. Certainly his successor is far worse.

I would trade in an Obama for a Romney any day. Heck, I would trade in Obama for almost anyone. Just let me get a chance to make the trade!

“Really? Conservatives are giving Romney the time of day? Their cash? Their vote?

ROFLMAO!”

Even during the primaries, the only cash Romney ever got came from himself. He just couldn’t get anyone else to support him. To the extent that he had to joke about throwing away his childrens inheritance. And the only primaries he won were the ones where he paid some of those huge sums of money to bus supporters in.

He’s just not a credible candidate.

He spent more per vote (of his own money) than anybody else in 2008.
