Time to send the absent minded professor Loebsack on sabbatical as Nancy Pelosi's faithful lapdog.

All that, and she is from Radar O’Reilly’s home town.

Too bad she finds the need to hyphenate her name.

They gave the name and address of her supporters. Why? I know it’s a small town rag, but really? Just more journalists showing their stripes. We should get the addresses of the journalists. That would learn em. It’s also more proof, that their end product is a low quality bum tissue.

I think that Dyann Roby is a Muscatine city councilwoman.

I am going to try to attend this event in Muscatine on Thursday. "The Button Factory" is a restaurant on the river downtown.

http://millermeeks.com/2010/
"MILLER-MEEKS AND SCHELLEKENS TO PRESENT ECONOMIC FORUM
Dr. Mariannette Miller-Meeks, Republican candidate for the 2nd Congressional District, and Rudy Schellekens, formerly of the Netherlands, will be presenting an economic forum at The Button Factory in Muscatine, Iowa on Thursday, April 8th, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Refreshments will be served and there will be time for questions and answers. Special thanks to Muscatine County Team Miller-Meeks for hosting!""

Yeah, that almost made me vote for Loebsack.

Well, fine then, you're right; even a full-fledged RINO like Jim Leach would be infinitely preferable to Loebsack.

And, if MMM is Loebsack's opponent again, we can always hope she isn't on the wrong end of a smackdown like he put on her the last time.

Reed is a pretty sad candidate. He can’t even come up with his own positions, he pretty much waits for what Mariannette has to say then copies her. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery I guess.

She smoked him at the Lee county 912 debate weekend before last.

By the way, I would never support Miller-Meeks. She’s not pro-life for all persons. Only the ones she deems worthy.

Besides the immorality of her position, experience tells us that those who are squishy on protecting the unalienable right to life of all end up squishing out on all sorts of things. Always.

Her and Reed have the exact same position on abortion.

Something that has served me pretty well throughout the years:

BEWARE the hyphenated last name.

Why isn’t the equal right to life of all persons one of her “non-negotiables”?

She claims her first non-negotiable is the Constitution.

But the Constitution states as its ultimate purpose to “secure the Blessings of Liberty to Posterity,” and says twice that “no person shall be deprived of life without due process,” or in other words, a fair trial.

Reed’s position on abortion is for Roe v. Wade to be overturned and sent back to the states. He believes abortion is a states rights issue.

NO, they don't. A simple perusal of their respective websites shows that you're wrong. Reed is pro-life for all persons and Miller-Meeks thinks it's okay to kill some. In other words, she's not really pro-life on principle. It's nothing more than a meaningless political position that she takes.

I have Reed ON VIDEO saying that his position on abortion is to overturn Roe v. Wade and send it to the states. Same position as Miller-Meeks.

Except, MMM knows Roe v. Wade won’t be overturned soon and she wants to put as many restrictions on it as the courts will allow. Reed has mentioned nothing about this.

Reed’s position on abortion is for Roe v. Wade to be overturned and sent back to the states. He believes abortion is a states rights issue.

No, he's a Reaganite, Fourteenth Amendment, personhood pro-lifer, according to the interviews our Iowa Chairman did with him.

But, if you can prove your assertion, we will pull our endorsement. We don't support Gerald R. Ford, Ron Paul, John McCain, Sarah Palin, pro-choice for states candidates.

I'll await links that reliably prove your assertion.

But, I certainly won't support another candidate that thinks some innocent human beings can be destroyed.

Send me a link.

From his website:

"Protect our God-given rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Chief among these is the right to life, including the unborn. All human life is sacred and must be protected."

From Miller-Meeks' website:

"I...am pro-life on the issue of abortion but believe there must be reasonable exceptions for victims of rape and incest."

By the way, if you can show me such an assertion by Christopher, I will thank you for straightening me out.
