Same argument is made for Snowe and Collins every 6 years. THis ain’t nothing new, despite your swooning for the RINO.

It's one that I agree with. Frequently, the best the GOP can get in the Northeast - at least for statewide offices - are the so-called RINOs. And a "RINO" is nearly always better than a Democrat.

Those 2 are merely liberal republicans holding contestable seats where we can do better, seats that are in play in elections, the Kennedy seat is not.

Brown winning that permanently Democrat seat was a fluke and a lucky break, either he stays in it or it reverts back to it’s normal state, radically leftist.

The permanent Ted Kennedy seat is totally different than the 2 you mentioned, don’t look a gift horse in the mouth.

We have to ask WHY?

Is it because of better ideas? no when conservative ideas go head to head with leftist ideas, conservative wins.

the left has to win by consealment. (see Obama, see Specter, see even McCain)

I would submit it is the Democrat party thugs are better organized with zombie voters who “do what thar told” and “vote assistors” who go into the booth with you to help your vote.

That sure isn’t my argument, I disagree with you and would like to replace those two.

The GOP rinos have fooled Brown into thinking he was not a sacrificial candidate.

The RNC was not running a stealth campaign. The RNC was running the bare minimum.

The RNC fear the tea party movmement MORE than democrats fear the tea party movment.

As long as we replace them with conservative Republicans and not Democrats, that’s fine with me. However as I noted, it’s difficult (I didn’t say impossible) to get a conservative elected to state wide office in the Northeast.

Yes, what relevance does that have in this, you see that as a reason to return that Senate seat back to the column of safe, incontestable, property of the Democrat party?

Do you pay any attention to politics and strategic gains and advances at all or is all this just some kind of rah rah baseball game to you where we assemble fantasy teams with our baseball cards?

It’s the “real conservatives can’t win” cabal that fuels the RINOs, wherever they come from. Whether it is Arnold, Fiorina & Whitman in CA, Kirk in Ill, Romney and Scott Chafee Brown in MA, the Maine dingbats, Mike Castle in DE, Pataki and Rudy in NY, Snarlin in PA, etc. They’ve really moved the country forward - at least if nanny state socialism is your definition of forward.

Again, ignoring the uniqueness of this single Senate seat and returning to a general, unfocused whine.

To not exploit this impossible, freak, electoral upset, and to turn the seat back over to the permanently safe Democrat column as you desire is just beyond reason, and proves that whatever you do here, it is not about politics and government and elections, and gaining ground and occupying more of the left’s real estate, depriving them of it’s use while we benefit from the use of it.

Your assumption is that RINO boy is the only one capable of taking or holding the seat. Same excuses I heard Hannity telling me about the Gov. of CA. Same excuses I heard Santorum and Co. making on behalf of Specter. Same excuses I heard of why Kirk can win “Obama’s seat”.

How’s this for a compromise. You can continue to knobshine for RINOs because of their ‘unique’ circumstances. I’ll continue to not support any liberals, regardless of their sob story.

You seem unable to grasp the difference in a seat that is permanently Democrat and offices that are not, your confusing Ted Kennedy’s permanent, incontestable Senate seat with the back and forth of the California’s Governor’s office and all the other offices that you keep bringing up shows a confusion that still doesn’t explain why you want that Senate seat returned to the Democrats.

Permanently democrat? The entire congress was “permanently democrat” til the GOP wised up and ran hard right with the Contract with America. Of course, by 1997 they had signs of catching RINOitis again and here we are.

You don’t seem to know anything about that seat or the Massachusetts Senate seats in general, it would have sure made this easier if you did.

....not sure what your second paragraph is about relative to Palin. Are you saying that even though she’s campaigning for McShame, she’s used that platform only to fire at the enemy? I’ve seen her pumping up McShame at the same time, so she’s not just on about the enemy.

I liked Jesse Helms. He didn’t give a rat’s patoot who liked him or what the other side thought or said about him. He said and did what needed saying and doing. Compare him to that pansy-assed phony, McShame. I miss Jesse.
