He doesn’t need your penny. What a whiner you are. He is as politically right as you are going to get from Massachusetts. Be thankful that he was elected as opposed to Coakley.
There are a few purist nutters on this site.
They believe every tired Dem media hit piece like this gem cooked up a lefty reporter trying to divide the GOP and the Tea Party.
You sure are passionate about keeping the Ted Kennedy seat safe.
For me that seat has haunted me almost my entire life, it was that seat that destroyed my nation’s future with the 1965 Immigration Act, that was the seat of the destruction of America and it’s people, and it’s culture, and it’s communities.
Not to worry. He's not up for reelection until 2012.
Perhaps they are well intentioned, but by their standards, the House would be made up of about 375 Democrats and 60 Republicans and the Senate would consist of about 80 Democrats and 20 Republicans.
But by golly, they would be happy as a clam. Every Republican would be pure and absolute and would lose every single vote taken by each chamber. But by golly, these absolutists and purists would sleep soundly. These purists will never get it.
I think that there is a good chance..have not seen any polls lately. AZ Republic (main newspaper) has been very quiet lately and they are in the bag for McCain.
Spot on! How many of these stories have we seen now posted on FR? And with every one the media gets the knee jerk reaction they hope for. Exactly their intent. And too many of us are willing victims and become the tools of the Saul Alinsky Deciples, and right out of his playbook.
Not me!
Hes a MA miracle. Always remember, its MA.

Agreed. Not my choice for my state, but a HUGE HUGE HUGE improvement over a certain drunk driver leftist in a drunk driver leftist state!
I’m a tea partier, and I’m not worried about it. I agree with you. Brown needs to win broad support and not tie himself to a single movement. He represents all of MA and needs to “show them the way” calmly and gently back to constitutional principles. Getting embroiled in a Hatfield and the McCoys feud is foolish for Brown and for tea partiers.
The Tea Partiers need to guard against disunity from the uninformed mainstream populace as well as internal divisions. We’re talking about MA. If Brown identifies strictly with the tea party people and doesn’t “work the crowd” of less informed, less politically savvy voters of MA, we’ll lose that seat in ‘12. Brown only has about 1.5 years to establish a stable political identity and demonstrate leadership and consistency. He can help the Tea Party movement by being a solid moderate-conservative for MA, which is the most we’ll ever get from MA voters unless and until those people regain their senses more fully.
Gawd, your statement perfectly epitomizes the SO typical ‘pub “aim carefully and shoot yourself in the foot” syndrome.
How can you KNOW what was possible? Perhaps Brown IS all that was possible at this time in that State. Trashing Brown because he is not the idea of a perfect Conservative will never get us control of anything.
This nation is made up of areas where there are more and less Conservatives, different degrees of conservatism and just plain different ideas of what exactly conservative means. I would rather have a Congress made up of ALL Republicans even if half of them were only 75% of what we want in our dream candidate, then a Congress of 50% Rep of a perfect conservative ideology and Democrats of a similar Liberal ideology.
Scott Brown could be Satan himself but if he voted the way I wanted him to then I could give a rat’s hair about the other stuff. Personally, I disliked Jesse Helms but he was my go to guywhen I knew the right thing had to be done.
BTW, I’ve noticed that Gov. Palin has been only shooting at the enemy. As Gen. Ike said in WWII “If we only had to fight the Germans”
That said, there were (are?) many on FR who, during the euphoria of his election, wanted this guy for President. Ummm, no.
He has to run again in 2012 and in mass it won’t be easy.
Scott Brown who?
Well, I did say I thought the piece was full of speculation but little actual fact. I would like to hear Senator Brown tell us himself why he isn’t going to be there.
My only point is that we have to watch our representatives very carefully. The hero worship of this Senator is a little disconcerting. When he said at one point in the health care reform debate that he didn’t like this bill, but he would like to work for some compromise — that raised some red flags to me. Seems to me he wants something like the Massachusetts health care system, which is failing miserably. I want the politicians to leave health care alone.
There should be no doubt in your mind as to what Scott Brown really is:
Scott Brown was a useful idiot who was elected to try to stop health care. Nothing more.
