The scumsack should have been arrested for inciting to riot, and thrown in prison for about a hundred years.

The heretic Pfleger should be careful what he wishes for, before he finds himself being burned at the stake, on his way to his master, the Devil.

"it's shocking to hear him actually advocate the murder of a gun shop owner who has never committed a crime in his life."

No, it's vintage Pfleger. What would be shocking is seeing the "reverend" preach even one sermon without insulting God, America, or conservatives. It'd be unprecedented.

Fr Phleger is clearly guilty of hate crime and inciting murder.

Should I assume that after 500 years, they are again calling for my murder because of what I believe. It’s not my religious views this time, rather my political views.....

WikipediaA German American[2] from the South Side of Chicago, Pfleger attended Archbishop Quigley Preparatory Seminary South, Loyola University and the University of Saint Mary of the Lake. He was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Chicago on May 14, 1975. Since 1981, Pfleger has been pastor of the mostly African American parish of Saint Sabina, a Catholic church in Chicago's Auburn Gresham neighborhood.

Just gotta love them Roman Catholics. True to form. 0.5 ONLY/s

nobody anticipated that an address by a Chicago priest would include a call for the murder...

Never ever happened in Roman history, right? What a sweet, lovely, self-appointed and poisonous Bride of Christ is overweening over-righteous Rome. (Not alone, I might add.)

But I have no doubt, and hope and pray, that many Romans --and others-- will find their way through the narrow gate to Heaven, regardless of the sins of their church. May He bless the seekers, whatever their origin.

So is this guy still a priest in the Catholic Church?

I know the Church disciplined him over a year ago, with instructions to take a "time out" that he might reflect on ways to gain control over on his general "unruliness".

Did the church allow him to return? May I ask what is their reasoning? How can they justify permitting this bloodthirsty man to be a “shepherd” over the flock entrusted to them?

He will almost certainly be defrocked within the next few years if his actions continue and become known to his superiors.

Funny how these guys can say what they want to, but if anyone comments in a questioning way about policies or procedures of the Catholic church, some people get REAL upset real fast. In fact, it causes one to have fear of making any comment which does not seem to be constitutional to me.

I was raised Catholic. I was baptized, had my first communion and was confirmed in the Catholic church. I no longer can support the Catholic church, the rot is just too deep. My father always said it was "an institution designed by a genius, and managed by morons". Fair enough. But the morons have the upper hand and time after time they refuse to do what is right. The bishops won't even excommunicate Nancy Pelosi & company. Why?

What is so bad about ex-communication? It's a very logical response to people who flaunt the teachings of the church.

Very sad.

Well if the good father thought it was such a wonderful idea to go in and try to forcibly remove the business owner from his shop full of guns, why didn’t he lead the way?
