"At first glance it looks like she might have taken her own life, but at second glance, something is very, very strange about it," Erica's father, Mel Blasberg, told The Press-Enterprise by phone from Nevada. "We're waiting for the police to make an investigation, it's a pending investigation. "Either way, I lost her and it's impossible to deal with
May God rest her soul, and give comfort to her family.

OD from prescription drugs is another leading cause of young people found dead.
Well, at least you're on the same page! :-)
So sad. A young life taken or given. Still heartbreaking.
Right about November 3rd, 2008 I'm sure there was a rash of people thinking about offing themselves.
Yeah no kidding. WTF is it with people today trying to make anyone more than a few years younger than them a child? Lots of people go to school, get married, and have jobs and kids and stable lives at the same ages they did 100 years ago.
Few Americans born after WWII have real true life experience, the kind our grandparents on back had where they actually dealt with daily life and death decisions and hard times. The kind people in other countries face every day today.
It just astounds me how some of these people think they are so wise and sage just because they reach a certain point in life. A great number of people in this country need to very much get over themselves.
I tell me kids right from the beginning, failure is an important part of life. It is only through failure that we ultimately learn how to become a success. I want them to do their best, but not to let failure get them down, or to live their lives in fear of it.
Way too little information to jump to conclusions here.
Personally, the worst hurt I ever experienced was at the hand of the fairer sex. Fortunately all I had to do to get me over the particularly rough parts was to think about my family and how much I love them. My five sisters in particular as well as my nieces and nephews.
But some people who seem to have everything in the world, in actuality, think they have nothing. So sad.
Schizophrenia is a mental disorder characterized by abnormalities in the perception or expression of reality. It most commonly manifests as auditory hallucinations, paranoid or bizarre delusions, or disorganized speech and thinking with significant social or occupational dysfunction. Onset of symptoms typically occurs in young adulthood, with around 0.40.6% of the population affected. Diagnosis is based on the patient's self-reported experiences and observed behavior. No laboratory test for schizophrenia currently exists.
I follow golf, being that it is my favorite sport, and know Blasberg well as a player, and suicide right now seems unlikely, she just recently Monday qualified in Mexico (making the cut and placing 44th) and was all set to go and Monday qualify for another tournament, doesn’t seem like the actions of a person ready to end it all.
That is what many Freepers do best.
I tell my kids the same thing. If they’re not failing occasionally, whatever they’re doing is too easy and they need to try something a little harder.
The main design flaw in the mat is that the squares closest to the bottom are way too close to the jumping point, the mat should have been longer with the squares moved further back.
Very sad.

I wonder why she posed for these pictures? Is it part of an ad campaign? Why is it that female athletes are often turned into sex kittens by the media? It is as if their accomplishments are not enough.
