Vivian Y. Bright likes to watch her congressman at work, but she was glad when Rep. Edolphus Towns finally gaveled to a close a hearing on sexual disparity in federal restrooms -- because she had to find one.
"Just now, we experienced it," she said. "We went to the ladies room. There's a line."
The House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, which Towns (D-N.Y.) chairs, heard testimony Wednesday on legislation to develop a more equitable sexual balance in the number of toilets in federal buildings.

Yesterday, an article in the Chicago Tribune said the word “lady” was sexist. How can “ladies room” be accepted in this society, Washington Post?!
This law should be rigorously enforced in the US Capitol. The number of toilets and urinals for male House and Senate members should be reduced to the same number of toilets for female members of Congress.
Women take too darn long.
Well they need to learn how to go in, do their business and get out so someone else has a chance! And what's up with one going and every girl at the table going with her? I mean, the process does not involve collaboration, does it?
The problem here is not too few toilets, The problem is too many federal employees, Fire half of them and no lines.

In grand bureaucratic tradition fitting to this occasion, I hereby commission an expensive fact-finding study be made, whereupon we shall disregard any facts collected and place a punitive tax on men’s room visits to underfund the Socialized “Potty Stamps” system to aid women and children in getting the access they desperately need.

Perhaps someone could develop some sort of catheter using maybe a drinking straw, where they could stand and use a urinal... That would be much faster. They could just unzip and go and it would speed things up.
If politicians and government bureacrats weren’t so F.O.S., we wouldn’t have this problem.
Some people in government just really need to have their asses whipped (bad, but not bad enough to require hospitalization) and then sternly told to never ever do something this silly again.
I thought there was no difference between men and women in the work place...

When I was going to college, I had a job as a janitor. (CPC International in Santa Fe Springs, CA where they made Skippy peanut butter. But I digress.)
Anywho, in the course of my nightly cleanup of the restrooms, I learned the mysterious reason.
