Ok, so now am I supposed to extrapolate and assume that because one or both were advisors that they support abortion on demand?

Perhaps they do. Can you prove it?

If you can show me evidence that Komen’s board or chair supports abortion on demand then that is what I’ll go with.

Would you care to enlighten us on the logical process by which one would give money to the largest abortion provider in the world if they DID NOT support what they were doing?

Perhaps they do. Can you prove it?

Unless the money was coerced by either force or false pretenses, a financial contribution to an organization is typically considered proof that you support what they do.

Does Nancy Brinker being on the advisory board of the North Texas Planned Parenthood count or is she not all that important?

Until then, the Komen Foundation supports abortion through thought as well as deed without hesitation what so ever. Komen herself was an adviser so, let us shift some funds to her cronies at Planned Parenthood. Lovely Foundation that sponsors an organization that murders, no matter how you protest, it is what it (Already documented) is.

Says you. Komen says differently. I haven't seen you supply any documentation that refutes Komen's statement. Komen says that they do not fund abortions and no one yet has shown me anything that proves they do.

They say they provide grants for breast cancer services and monitor to ensure that their grant monies are spent only in compliance with their agreements and not for abortions.

Didn't Jesus accuse the pharisees of swallowing camels and straining at gnats?

Do you believe that Nancy Brinker has any influence over where the Komen money goes? Assuming she does, it has been widely reported (and NEVER denied) that she served on Planned Parenthood advisory boards in the past. Do you believe that people who serve on Planned Parenthood advisory boards support abortion or are you going to dispute that too?

They say they provide grants for breast cancer services and monitor to ensure that their grant monies are spent only in compliance with their agreements and not for abortions.

Do you even have a passing understanding of what overhead is?

Didn't Jesus accuse the pharisees of swallowing camels and straining at gnats?

Are you now suggesting that the Lord Jesus Christ would SUPPORT giving money to an organization that kills babies?

Sorry to upset ya ! I try to be careful on my direct donations, but I can’t prevent ALL my dollars from somehow getting to Planned Parenthood somehow...what you’re saying, I assume, is that it’s more a matter of the dollar amounts and the intention?

It’s nearly impossible to keep money from going to organizations we don’t like. However, when a person gives money to an organization like Komen, they shouldn’t have to wonder if that money is going to Planned Parenthood, this is very different from eating at a fast food restaurant or staying in a hotel.

Many people seem to think that Komen is the only organization fighting breast cancer and that before Komen it was just ignored and this is totally false.

Imho, the more we know about these organizations, the more we can support those that do conform to our ideals and principles. While there may be those who don't care if they support abortion, there are many who do care.

Thanks to wagglebee for educating us about this one.

I’m really surprised at your statement about women over 40 not going to PP...they offer a huge range of services including flu vaccinations, cholesterol screenings, thyroid checks and all kinds of other stuff...PP is not just an abortion mill, it’s a one-stop for a bunch of services unrelated to abortion or “Reproductive services”...

(Yeah, I hear the Nazis put out some really great "skin lampshades" during WWII...Those gas chambers weren't just mass killing machines, it was a one-stop for a bunch of products...)

So, get an abortion while you wait for a breast cancer screening?

What will they think of next to lure women into those murder factories? Pap screens and just perform the abortion while they’re there?

Anything with Susan G. Komen on it is now cause for extreme prejudice in my household.
