To: no dems

I have been peripheral to the campaign so far. I traveled for 30 hours on the 912 bus with 5 of Paul’s current close support team. Now they travel with him everywhere. Before they chose Paul as the candidate they’d support, they interviewed all the candidates. They said that Eddie Hendry sounded good until they’d met him. To them, he came across as (I’m paraphrasing) low energy and not nearly as salable as Paul. They had no problems with him or what he had to say. So, the rest of us got behind Paul.

We asked the same question you asked because splitting the vote is a real concern. (BTW, so far as I know we’re all registered Republican. Given how they talk I’d be shocked if anybody was a Democrat.) They felt Eddie Hendry’s views were fine and that he’d do a fine job if he were to have the chance. This district is, by a huge margin, Democratic. Democrats vote by feel not with their heads. Otherwise John McCain would be President. They convinced the rest of us to get behind Paul.

If you want more I’ll connect you with one of the close-in team.

I’m really sorry this post became the shouting match it did. I only wanted to know what trade agreement Obozo had signed to prevent a future US president from lowering corporate taxes.

The tactic is called "Divide and Conquer". By running as an Independent he doesn't have to go through the filter of a primary. By Parroting the matra of Tea Party Supporters would make him the perfect Trojan Horse for the ill informed...in order to split the vote.

Ala Ross Perot...
