And though the media [and some asinine, so-called 'conservatives'] have painted Palin as a ditz, no politician in memory has conducted a more brilliant pre-presidential campaign, if that is what she is about, than the lady who calls herself "the Mama Grizzly."

Wow, Jeane Kirkpatrick, haven’t thought of her in years. Now there’s one tough old broad, lol. She was hard to like as a person, but was I ever glad to have her on our side and in the role she played, in that place and time. We owe her a debt of gratitude.

You’re right about that. Sarah’s political instincts are as good if not better than the best of them. She is fearless.

Even ol’ Pat has finally figured out that Sarah’s deadly serious with her objective.

So, Pat is saying that Palin is more about her own personal election chances than the good of the country? Who says that they are mutually exclusive?

pat’s clock stopped when he first read about his hero in school... hitler... but he got this right... almost. Plain said the she would endorse the most Conservative candidates that she thought could win. That explains her last endorsement referenced by pat

Palin has bigger balls that any elected republican man alive. She, Michele Bachman, and Jan Brewer have quintupled the collective testosterone level of the Republican party. Throw in Chris Christie, and you've got animal house on your hands.

Good article, and illustrates why I don't think Palin is quite what many hope her to be.
And I do not respect her for quiting.

The expression on her face here, is not one of a "quitter". It's the expression of someone in a fight that just changed the game - the field of battle if you will. And she did splendidly.

I had the feeling she was going ever since she announced her resignation. Especially when I saw the picture of her walking away from the mike with a huge smile on her face.
They really would have been better off leaving her alone.

Seems that Sarahcudah will go into the presidential race with an entire school of smaller fish following her.
Dad will be happy reading this. Sarah is known around here as “our Sarah” not to be confused with “OUR Sarah”, his granddaughter. He wants a woman president in his lifetime.
