I was about to attempt to call the Viking Kitties out on you because Pat “Hitler Didn’t Hate the Jews Enough” Buchanan is scum. Ergo, those who say he’s right are trolls.

Then I saw who posted this: One monster of a troll reaper. So I read it completely.

Wow, you’re correct. Pat got this one right. I’ll be in shock for at a week. At least.

Then again, I’m betting Palin would rather not have this scum’s words of approval...

It’s too bad Pat Buchanon didn’t stick to political commentary and writing history. He would still enjoy wide respect.

He is one of those who came out of a crushing election defeat much diminished in spirit and fractured in perspective.

Jimmy Carter and Alan Keyes come to mind as well.

“He is one of those who came out of a crushing election defeat much diminished in spirit and fractured in perspective.”

And Al Gore. What a mess.

Yet Governor Sarah Palin came out of a defeat and 24/7/365 ridicule, abuse and bogus ethics complaints stronger than ever, the probable 2012 standard-bearer and kingmaker. Who says only men have those kind of stones?

worth repeating:

"no politician in memory has conducted a more brilliant pre-presidential campaign, if that is what she is about, than the lady who calls herself "the Mama Grizzly."

Yes, one of Palin’s most winning assets (for me) is her attitude. Similar to Reagan and W in that respect. You just can’t rile her.

So, Pat is saying that Palin is more about her own personal election chances than the good of the country?

you are right. she has a great ‘gut’. none of these little liberal pussy ass hats can scare Sarah. what a flat out wonderful American, and Todd also. FReepers, if you have not read her books....do so. she and her family’s work ethic is incredible. what a great love story with her husband. it reminds me of Nancy and her ‘Ronny’. damn I miss him....

No Pat is saying that Palin is choosing her endorsements wisely while never sacrificing her principles. when it is required to risk to get her message across she risks it. Like Haley and houffman. when she can get her message across without much risk she does that also like in IW. Palin is not going to back a loser just to be “pure” She has not backed any candidate that does not at least campaign on her core issues. Pro-life, pro-gun, pro-military, small limited government.

Pat is saying that Palin unlike any other politician lately is fusing her message and her ambition so that both can be advance at the same time without any damage to either.

From listening to Palin she feels the message is the most important thing. However if she can advance that and advance herself she does so. when she can not she chooses to advance the message instead.

Not I. I have always regretted the fact that G H W Bush ran as Reagan’s successor, rather than Jeane Kirkpatrick.

I think she retained her Democratic party status till the end though - can’t remember.

Back to Palin, yes, she has proven an ability to take the heat not merely in the kitchen, but in a crucible. And she fights back while enduring it. We have not seen that in years.

If only we’d heard the last of PJB.

We hardly need his sick twisted warped reason to advise us on any topic at all.

Hayworth had a legit shot to beat McCain - especially if the politicians with national followings lined up behind him.

Looking over Palin's endorsements -- McCain over J.D., Fiorina over DeVore, Branstad over Bob Vander Plaats and Rod Roberts -- the lady is not running for Mrs. Conservative. The one explanation that makes the most sense of all the seeming inconsistencies in endorsements is that Mama Grizzly is thinking about moving the Wasilla brood into the big house.

Sounds like good political insight coming through. Can't be dismissed coming from someone who has been on the inside of politics for so long.
