Former USDA official Shirley Sherrod, who claims she was falsely smeared as a racist while she herself falsely smears Republicans and Fox News as racists, said this morning that she would like to see BigGovernment.com, the website that made her famous, shut down for the good of the country.
CNN's American Morning reported on Sherrod's demand:
She said if Breitbart's site were shut down, "That would be a great thing, because I don't see how that advances us in this country ... at a time when we should be trying to look at how we can make space for all of us in this country, so that we can all live and work together, he's doing more to divide us."
Sherrod also told CNN she is considering suing Andrew Breitbart, the owner of Big Government:
"I really think I should. You know, I don't know a lot about the legal profession, but that's one person I'd like to get back at. Because he came at me. You know, he didn't go after the NAACP. He came at me."
Yesterday, in an interview with the Democrat front group Media Matters, Sherrod smeared Fox News as wanting to take blacks back to the Jim Crow era:
... they would love to take us back to where we were many years ago. Back to where black people were looking down, not looking white folks in the face, not being able to compete for a job out there and not be a whole person."
In the same speech given in March to the NAACP that initially got Sherrod fired by the Obama administration, Sherrod smeared Republicans as racists for opposing Barack Obama's government takeover of healthcare:
"Some of the racism we thought was buried, didn't it surface? Now we endured eight years of the Bushes, and we didn't do the stuff these Republicans are doing because you have a black president."
Sherrod is being annointed as a saint by the media for her claim to have overcome her own racism. She is even being compared to Nelson Mandela. Yet to this day she speaks in starkly racist terms of "my people" and "his own kind" while flinging the race card as skillfully as Jesse Jackson at her perceived political opponents.
She also has revealed a leftist totalitarian streak. It's no wonder the communists from ANSWER and Code Pink were out supporting her yesterday:
Milk it, baby! Her royal highness won’t be getting her way on this one.
Sherrod is proving to be nothing but a manipulator, pure and simple. Now she's attempting to manipulate again. She must have been talking to Rambo, no crisis (personal or otherwise) should be wasted. Now like a good little controlling fascist, she wants to shut down freedom of press because she doesn't have ANY grounds to sue, her past modus operandi. She knows Breitbart did nothing wrong by simply displaying the tape. This woman has proven she has zero character.
Instead of attacking Breitbart, why doesn't she rebuke that NAACP crowd who were amused and titillated by her remarks in her speech which appeared derogatory against a white man at that moment?
One can hope anyway...

I have wrote a few times on this thread that I have noticed how she sues present tense when talking sometimes and then uses past tense.
Seems to me that she is still a racist but tries to hide it better than she did years ago.
In your heart if you know racism is not you anymore you make a point without thinking that it is past tense she does not.

Knee jerking is what gets people in trouble. Instead of taking about this kook of a woman, we need to stick to the subject. Changing the subject is a well known Alinski tactic. Stay calm, and lets get back to the real subject of this video - the NAACP audience! That's the HUGE part of this whole story that's being buried!!!
One piece is that the Freedom Singers, intimately connected to Shirley and Hubby, performed at the Whitehouse in Black Awareness Month. The theme was Civil Rights Music.
They also performed at Obama's inauguration.
I have to believe Shirley and Charles were at both affairs AND that they met the Obama's personally....but the big fat lawsuit was nearing it's end...and so...no publicity??
Beck for some reason this year has been wrong a number of issues and some are no way as good as last year.
He needs to get back to showing everyone how this admin, obama etc are corrupt to the core .
As for sticking up for this woman, then the mind boggles,
Tell me she isn't a racist. She's right about one thing - race relations are being inflamed in this country, but it's the current administration, and groups like the NAACP and New Black Panthers that are responsible.
I think it was on the Today show. I don’t have it recorded anymore. I saw the clip on FNC but apparently it was more than 2 hrs ago. I’m not sure she used the correct grammatical context which is what made it confusing. After referring to “rural” she also referred to “southern” which is what helped me figure it out. She said something about Obama just not understanding how “we rural” and she was talking about explaining to him how rural and southern people live.
That’s not a pitch fork, it’s a potato fork (for digging up spuds).

This woman, and everyone else who's defended her, may believe she's overcome her racism, but her first reaction after being fired was anger at the NAACP and Roland Martin because they're black and should have defended her:
She feels like no one's been willing to fight for her. "It hurts especially when the NAACP is doing it and Roland Martin is doing it. These are black people, they never asked me what happened, these are people who haven't been on the front line like I have for 45 years..."
In her mind race should still be the deciding factor.
Sherrod's attempting to keep the distraction going with this news. Won't work. The NAACP needs to address the problem of racism and bigotry within their ranks.

Sherrod attacked Breibart at the beginning of the clip. NAACP gets complete pass as does Obama.
“Ok, we need to know where Brietbart got the original clip. He’s been set-up.”
I’m starting to think this too. The timing is too convenient, with the race card being played daily and the left’s call to abolish Fox News. The outdated NAACP is looking for a new Rosa Parks.
up to the election I saw race relations go down.
After the election I heard the corrupt media who got their messiah in say that race relations are great but ignore how 95% of the black voters voted for this man and yet most have no clue about his policies, it was because he is not white.
So much for race relations.
Now race relations has got much worse,
White left wing kooks, corrupt media are stoking up the fires and causing more trouble in order to defend obama by using the race card, class card etc.
I’m sick to death of hearing about black this white that.
Some blacks I know now think whites are out to get them because obama is black and it is because of these idiots in the corrupt media.
All of this crap has to stop and if we had a man in power with guts, brains and balls then he would say enough is enough, boycotts of states are wrong and bad, using the class and race card is wrong, and that we are all Americans regardless.
BUT NO he does not do that because he is part of the problem
Who is she kidding? She and hubby got $300,000 and years of paychecks before that.
I’ve waivered back and forth on this. In the end, I concluded her job was a reward. Tell her to go work on the farm. Yeh, right.
